Did not even think of this. I absolutely think that the crowd picture he tweeted and this are in response to the critics. Hope they are able to see the subtlety and sarcasm and refutation. While I was not at the MSG concert, here is an addition to the "peculiarities" list based on the YT videos: In addition, as I reported in my Vancouver review, Brian fell to his knees at the B stage for the first time during that concert. He did this again in another show, but the Vancouver show was the first occurrence. Please add both to the list!  A newly uploaded Montreal video, you can see Brian on his knees at the end of his guitar solo. My question for this critic is: Why review a show before it actually takes place and then denigrate it before even seeing it?
Dream reunions that could compete with Queen and Adam Lambert
ROCK ROYALTY: Filling in for the late Freddie Mercury, Adam Lambert, left, will perform with Brian May of Queen in Boston Tuesday night.
I’m cool with Queen and Adam Lambert headlining the TD Garden on Tuesday.
Will it measure up to Queen with Freddie Mercury? No. Will it come anywhere remotely close to Queen with Freddie? Again, no. But guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor want to play (and, importantly, still can play) and Lambert has the vocal chops to make it a fun show.
As long as a band respects its legacy and markets a tour correctly — notice, the Garden gig isn’t listed as just Queen; Queen is gone forever and May and Taylor know that....

Can't get the cursor out of the quote box This happens to me quite often when I erase extra white space. You have to click the BBCode tab at the bottom and add a return after the [/quote] code. Then you can click back on Preview and go as normal. |
