acupuncture? wow.
ouch! Some people swear by it. I'll admit I tried it once, and wasn't impressed. Maybe you have to give it more of a chance than I did. But, in my case, it didn't make my shoulder stop hurting and while the needles weren't painful, the process made me feel kinda odd. Never went back. <shrug> |

Never went back. <shrug> I think it also depends on the expertise of the acupuncturist, and it does usually take more than one session if it's a persistent problem. I was told by an orthopedic surgeon that I needed orthoscopic surgery immediately for what he thought was a torn meniscus, but I opted for acupuncture with an acupuncturist who used to be an orthopedic surgeon in China.. it took only 5 sessions, and my knee was fine, without surgery. It saved me tons of money too! |
