acupuncture? wow.
ouch! Actually I've had acupuncture and it does not hurt at all. In fact it is very relaxing. Don't know what Adam's using it for, that would be interesting to know. It helped me quit smoking, after all else failed. |

ouch! Some people swear by it. I'll admit I tried it once, and wasn't impressed. Maybe you have to give it more of a chance than I did. But, in my case, it didn't make my shoulder stop hurting and while the needles weren't painful, the process made me feel kinda odd. Never went back. <shrug> I've been using acupuncture for many years. I get it about every 3 weeks as part of ongoing program with my chinese medicine practitioner. I know lots of people just use it for pain relief and when they have other issues and it can be great for that (but you do usually need more than one session), but I've found it works best for me to help keep me healthy - it's terrific for helping with stress, PMS, menopause symptoms etc. You do need to find someone who is experienced as there are certain points that should only be needled carefully... |

Had to be brought off stage manually. Took a long time. Roger missed the beginning of Another one bites the dust. Some seconds sth. like silence, only Rufus did some clicking... There was a very low fuzzy noise on the sound system first half of show. Was gone after Pete changed an AC30 (or so) during Brians solo... Rufus again left out breaks in TYMD-chorus. But in the last chorus he tried to play it with the consequence that the band played confusing things and the longest guitar solo, I have ever heard. Crowd was poor, in some moments almost sleeping. Band was great and in a good mood. Sound was nearly perfect, where we stand. Voices sounded much better, less harshness, more bass and bass drum. Today no strange effects on Brians solo voice. I like it much better, when its natural and not through a flanger/chorus effect...thanks mixing guy! I cannot say anything negative about Adam Lambert. He rocks, He has a great voice. He hits every note. He is absolutely over the top. He can handle the audiences very easy. He gives the energy to the shows. Sorry Gavin Ross, but that is what I definitely learnt the last 6 gigs... Again: Brians guitar sound is the best sound on earth...I want to hear more of that! To me it was one of the best shows of the 6 I attended. Perhaps I will write a review of my tour tommorrow...will see what I can remember and what will be in my head after a (short) sleep and drive to the airport... Thank you to all participators! |
