I am in Iceland now, flying to Toronto in 2 days. And although this trip is totally different from the next part of my journey, I can't help finding connections everywhere (two of the more obvious ones: the hotel just across the street from where I am staying is called hotel Adam, and the first bar I walked into was playing Somebody to love at that exact moment).
And there are two lovely ladies from Texas staying at my guesthouse. When I told them where I was going next, they knew of people who saw the show in Houston and they thought it was an amazing show! For me it was already surprising that they actually knew who Adam is. Of course I know that he is famous in the USA, but I have gotten so used to explaining who he is, that it is really nice to not have to do this. I'll be in heaven next week, I think!
