OMG guys, I'm here catching up on Atop and all the wonderful videos, listening to the radio with half an ear, when I realise I'm singing along to something familiar....and it's .... wait for it.... Never Close Our Eyes! I frequent the Hard Rock Casino a little too often and they play "What do You Want From Me" on occasion, and some Queen music (usually "Fat Bottomed Girls").....but lately I've been hearing a lot more Queen than usual and I just heard.....wait for it....haha.... "Never Close Our Eyes" TWICE in the past week! Yeah! Hard Rock! BTW That's Hard Rock Casino in South Florida...not Vegas

With QAL he is not "at rest" on stage ever. He is always "ON!" The mental and physical energy required to project that kind of stage presence and to capture and hold the audience in rapt attention as he does is substantial and draining. After watching so many vids so many times, it's only now that I can watch his body as a "body of work", if you will (usually too busy wiping up drool). Even when he's not audibly singing, his body sure is. So many nuances and emphasis exactly where it's needed - accentuating the beat in every instance. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing a flash of lightning and know that thunder will follow. Totally agree, cassie, he's always "on" and that's a lot of work. Work which adds a lot to the presentation - Brian and Roger probably didn't anticipate to what extent this would be a bonus when they first signed AFL to the gig. Joy Boy (tm red panda) is the deluxe package (you know what I mean).

Finally a review of the Boston concert by MJ. www.mjsbigblog.com/queen-adam-lambert-take-over-the-boston-garden-recap-and-videos.htm"I don’t know much about other singers who have fronted Queen since Freddie’s death, but Adam Lambert was a great choice for a number of reasons. As a world class vocalist, he has the chops to interpret the Queen catalog in a unique and powerful way. But as a Queen fan, he brings reverence to the band’s legacy. Interpretation imbued with both creativity and respect! And as a young singer, he brings energy and excitement to the project. It’s a buzz that founding members, Brian May and Roger Taylor fed off of. The result was a legacy concert that did NOT come off as merely a nostalgia romp. The tour works as a showcase for the classics, but with a 21st century twist."

Just curious, since I know nothing about these fan polls, but how does that Skillet guy know that those ten votes are being counted? I just used his system, but kept going past 10, stopping at 16 out of boredom. Never got any message that they were counted...or not. I see we are slipping a bit but is it because this 10x is really working or is it because more Panheads are jumping online to vote for the first time?

I wondered the same thing but when I went past 10 it said I had voted enough or something like that...so now I vote 10...refresh the page and go again. ( Someone asked earlier what Panhead video showed: go to website, vote...the view vote under vobutton changes to return to poll) I guess someone in their group tried until banned.

I've been a lurker for a long time but following these concerts inspired me to post again. Going through these videos - just so overwhelming it is hard to find the words. Thanks so much to everyone for all the videos, streams, reviews - you guys are amazing! If only there had been shows in Southeast U.S - I could have maybe gone - hopefully someday another U.S. tour. I've only seen Adam once (GNT in Atlanta) and that caused turmoil with family (husband went with me and did not like it)and most of my friends just don't get it and I was even almost kicked out of the PTA! I will find some cooler friends to hang with in time for A3 though...
Time for some retail therapy - I'll post again later.
