Did anyone else get their VIP packages without any prior notice? Mine came today (3 weeks after concert) but I received no email in advance. NOT COMPLAINING! Happy they came! I didn't get any notification either  |

This has hit me so hard, I don't know why. (Maybe because I'm drinking a mead my DH just kegged that's about a gazillion percent alcohol, lol). Although not a member of any "minority" group, I've always felt like an outsider. And I think I've always been drawn to "outsiders." I hope that someday nobody will feel like an outsider. ILHSFM too. And wit that I'd better shut up for now. Me too.... Me too! |

Hump Day With Adam Lambert: HomeOn this week’s Hump Day with Adam Lambert, Adam heads back to L.A. before heading to Asia and Down Under. The Australian leg of the Queen/Adam tour begins in Perth on August 22 (and they’ll be performing a couple of dates in Asia before then), so Adam is in L.A. for now, hopefully getting some rest and recuperation (although knowing what a whirling dervish he is, it’s unlikely that he’s stopped at all). When it comes to the cultural appropriation debate, Adam Lambert stands in favor of celebrating the human race. Taking a break from sizzling on stage with Queen this summer, Adam logged onto Twitter this afternoon to share his thoughts on a hot topic in pop culture as of late, which has grown in intensity over the past year — from Miley Cyrus‘ controversial 2013 MTV VMAs performance to Iggy Azalea‘s arrival to the main stage. Like his pop BFF Katy Perry (who’s had her fair share of detractors following the premiere of “This Is How We Do”), Adam doesn’t agree with the criticism. “This whole cultural appropriation debate is so 20 years ago. Our cultures r BLENDING. A new, open minded/hearted generation is on the rise,” Lambert explained in a series of tweets. Glad you got yours but I live in N.Y. and still haven't gotten mine. Grrrr I got an email yestetday from VIP nation (in response to an email inquiry I sent last week) saying my package was shipped by UPS yesterday. My show was July 14, so will be just a little over 3 weeks by the time it gets here. |

Was at the physiotherapist today, just making a new appointment and about to go in for treatment, when I was totally shocked to hear WWFM on the radio! Took me a couple of seconds to realize what I was hearing, was so surprised! Receptionist must have wondered why I was suddenly smiling to myself, LOL! It's been ages since I heard it anywhere.

Hey talon, got my VIP Nation package today post MSG. Man, the small T-shirt is giant and the shirts are tacky. I should have gotten something at the merch table, wanted a classic Queen shirt. And these tote bags are HUGE!

It's so quiet today that I couldn't resist reposting this! Hugs to Momtomany!!!  All I could focus on were his eyes!! I just gotta laugh at my intensity . . . . you would have thought I was singing along to some earth-shattering ballad . . . instead of " . . . she drives me crazy . . . "! I thank robininny for capturing that moment; now I know what ecstasy on this ol' face looks like! I sang with Adam Fucking Lambert and I'll never forget how I KNEW, how I felt captured by his eyes, how I twirled!! Even the clothes & jewelry I wore are now artifacts; treasures of that night and those twenty seconds. Oh, the melodrama! The desire! I crack myself up! And then, alone, I realize that, yes, it really was that wonderful, that affirming, that amazing. Deep down inside I carry a thrilling memory of a girl; swept away by the magician himself. |
