Does anyone here remember Adam having an album preview at a gay club (I think in NYC) before Trespassing came out? Or am I hallucinating this?!! LOL! I could be wrong, but I think the preview was at a gay club in Washington, DC following that marriage equality fundraiser gig Adam did there. That was different. I remember something with press even! Guess I will have to go read the old Trespassing thread! |

He performed Cuckoo and Chokehold, wearing a white shirt and black vest that people joked was a "grandpa" vest? |

No you're not hallucinating it. He did have an album preview in NY, but I'm not so sure if it's at a gay club, but it's in NYC with all the people from the LGBT papers/news journalist/columnist. And then he went to DC to do a show for fund raiser for marriage equality. The night before or after the show he went to a gay club to play some of his songs.

I felt particularly vindicated because the friend who was with me at the farmer's market today wasn't really an Adam fan when I dragged her along to the United Center tour kick-off. She had liked Adam well enough on Idol but is a very practical, common-sensed gal and didn't remain as "passionate" as I am about him in the years following the show. Today, though, when the lady commented that she didn't know Adam was touring with Queen and that it must have been great, my friend was the first to pipe up and proudly tell her how amazing it was. I did an internal happy dance! |

oops, I missed John Deacon at the AC concert, what bad reporting! I wore my 2012 Queen+AL shirt to AC concert and several people asked me about it.. including Adam fans who said "I had no idea Adam had done those tours with Queen in 2012'. I've had friends at work (who knew I was going to some QAL shows) send me press announcements, and my kids (in their 20s) who went with us to MPP heard how great the shows were. I still need to post my mini-reviews before I forget what I wanted to say!
