The torrent downloads for the IZOD and Toronto 2 multi-cam videos are a single 6 GB video file rather than the DVD format. These are being rehosted on Devenlane's blog. They can be hosted for download in 2 ways: 1) as one 6 GB file, or 2) as 6 "split" 500 MB files which you have to download separately and then join together using the 7-Zip, WinZip, WinRAR, or other such software. We are open to discussion about which way would be better for people. Of course you can always rip the video from YouTube, but the audio on the YouTube rip will be at a lower quality. Depending on how good your sound system, headphones, etc., are, you may or may not hear the difference. I can definitely hear a difference with good headphones. My problem is getting the files onto a DVD. I can watch and love the huge files on the PC. The sound from MSG for example is great. In DLing from devenlane's site I couldn't figure out how to pick and choose within a folder. I wound up with 480 720 and 1080 versions of everything in a folder. lol I deleted all the 480s and kept the other two....untill I see about making DVDs using 1080 rather than 720, the old way I used to make them. What I WISH is somebody, at some point, to make great DVDs with awesome sound that I can BUY. lol. Kinda like we had for Kiev and the London shows. Maybe that will happen once again. We really don't want to get into a BUYing scenario with these fan DVDs, even if that is just covering material cost & shipping and no profit, especially when their is a good chance that there will eventually be a professional video for sale. But, I may be able to come up with something formatted just right to make it easier for people to make DVDs from. And instructions to go with it.

I am curious about burning 1080 as well, can any dvd drive burn 1080. I have software already, just curious if all drives will actually burn it. It is the software that matters, not the DVD drive. Videos on a burned DVD are ALWAYS in 480p! That is the only size that a DVD can play. The software has to convert the 1080p into 480p before it is written to the DVD. So, it generally does not matter much if you use the 720p or the 1080p download from YouTube, except that the 1080p might take longer to convert. Both 720p & 1080p videos have the same audio quality downloaded from YouTube. But the 360p video downloaded from YouTube has lower quality audio and the image size is too small to get a good quality DVD.

Maybe they just can't bear removing the sticker from the truck! Bet they just haven't "unwrapped" the trucks yet! Love it!! That seems likely. There was one in NYC and now one in Atlanta. They will eventually pull the wraps. In the meantime, it is kind of fun to see where they pop up.

I am curious about burning 1080 as well, can any dvd drive burn 1080. I have software already, just curious if all drives will actually burn it. That, I don't know. What I currently have...old free DVDFlick....would only burn 720 I think. Seems 1080 is considered BluRay, but if it's doable, that's the way to go I would think. You'd want to have the best quality to keep, if 1080s can be burned by regular people like me. Like I said, it would be easier if I could pay somebody to do me a few. LOL I love the bags that came with the VIP packages. They work well as your extra carryon/purse on the plane. They hold a lot, have a zipper so you can slide them under the seat. Plus, you get lots of looks in airports. lol Dancy....I didn't know that when you burn a DVD it changes your 720 Youtube DL to a 480. I always thought I was watching in HD. lol. Shows how little I know. And I know you or others don't want to sell DVDs to cover your time and costs. I understand that. But I still would want to buy anyway. LOL. And, of course, I'd buy the prof. Queen ones if and when they ever come out. So, I will wait until you or others can provide the best video and audio with instructions and what software to use to burn our own. As long as you make it so a child can follow the directions, maybe I'll be able to handle it.

Queen's Brian May: 'Performing with Adam Lambert has exceeded every expectation'Queen guitarist Brian May has revealed that touring with Adam Lambert has "exceeded every expectation". The band recently finished up an arena tour across North America and they are now heading to other regions. Speaking on Eddie Trunk's podcast, May said that singer Lambert effortlessly brings talent and also charisma to the stage. "It's safe to safe that it has exceeded every expectation. It is incredible. I can hardly believe what we're doing with him - it's enormous and full of joy. It's just so much joy and fun and it's very much like the old days. "I know Freddie [Mercury] would love it - I just wish he was here enjoying it. Adam is in no way a copyist of Freddie, but he has so much of the similar kind of roots in his personality. He doesn't have to try to be funny or camp or whatever. And apparently he doesn't have to try to have an extraordinary voice."Follow us: @pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook.
