My calendar came today. Yeah!! I love it! While checking it out I noticed that the Adam Calendar and the Queen + Adam Tour Program have the same merchandiser. Both are under license to Bravado. I found that interesting? Bravado is alsoAdam's merchandiser now. And at least 100 other artists!

I have seen parts of this interview, but not all of it. Adam Lambert talks with GLAAD about the Live Proud campaign, cultural change, and touring with Queen www.glaad.org/blog/adam-lambert-talks-glaad-about-live-proud-campaign-cultural-change-and-touring-queenHere's one part: GLAAD: You've been touring as the front man for the rock group Queen which is of course the group previously fronted by singer Freddy Mercury. What was it about Queen's music and Mercury's own musical legacy that made you want to take part?
AL: The music is so genius. They borrowed from every genre imaginable, which I love because I love all music, so I felt some parallels there. It's really fun to sing and some of it is incredibly emotional and dramatic and some of it is completely ridiculous and campy and I like goofing off on stage and being over-the top. You know, wearing some leather fringe. They're rock royalty. So to be asked to be a part of their outing this summer was a huge honor. It's a dream collaboration and I have been having a great time hearing so many stories from the past, from the golden era of rock and roll. And the audience has been amazing. They have ranged from dads to moms to teenagers to boys to girls. It's a very diverse crowd which always makes me really, really happy.

I just tried on my Tee shirt - was planning on wearing it today. Uhh... no haha. I really didn't expect much because it's unisex but the small is too big and I should NOT have ordered a medium for my daughter. Oh well I like the bag! I SO WISH I had gotten a T at the concert but I was focused on getting a program. So sorry your VIP shirt is too large. You might want to wash it carefully (inside out, on cold) Then put in dryer to see if it'll shrink. My size Large is too big on top, but tight around my hip/butt area so I don't dare put it in a dryer. I've found that most of these concert T's & fan T's are NOT printed on very high quality shirts (& I know cause I had my own screenprinting biz for many years), so shrinkage is to be expected. I also was focused on getting my program at the Houston concert (Yea!), so I went online & bought the QAL 2014 Tour T & other goodies from: queen.shop.bravadousa.com/Dept.aspx?cp=39831_66408&sort=&page=0#Still waiting for them, tho. Good luck! These unisex shirts are always too large. At least for me. I'll try putting it in the dryer. I'm not drowning in it - it's wearable, just not the fit I like. Put me in the WANTS A DVD line! I think they will put out a pro one. How could they not as there apparently is a great demand. $$$$$$$ But I just wonder how long it will take.

This quote by Brian from the Eddie Trunk podcast is especially wonderful as he practically ignored any Adam mention in his original review: "It's safe to safe that it has exceeded every expectation. It is incredible. I can hardly believe what we're doing with him - it's enormous and full of joy. It's just so much joy and fun and it's very much like the old days.
"I know Freddie [Mercury] would love it - I just wish he was here enjoying it. Adam is in no way a copyist of Freddie, but he has so much of the similar kind of roots in his personality. He doesn't have to try to be funny or camp or whatever. And apparently he doesn't have to try to have an extraordinary voice."

You know what's strange? I do know how to appreciate that very sexy guy, and I had plenty of 'ooh la la' moments watching him on youtube. And that compilation is definitely one of them. But when I saw him in real life, at the concert, all I could do was bask in that voice and the fact that he was just there. I registered the hot moves, bit didn't feel them. Maybe better to watch some more videos.... And wait patiently until they announce some European dates
