Just because I'm bored! Billboard 200: #30 - Caleb Johnson - Testify (1 week) : DEBUT 10,315 #80 - Kris Allen - Horizons (1 week) : DEBUT (less than 4100) Since we're bored and being snarky, how about this fall fro THE GOLDEN BOY! Behind the Light, the sophomore effort from American Idol season 11 winner,Phillip Phillips, sold 2K this week, a 31% rise due to sale pricing at Google Play and back-to-school promotions at retailers. The numbers give us a rough idea of how well Phillip has been selling week to week. So far, the album has sold 103K. The singer isn’t roaring up the charts, and will likely not go platinum as he did the first time around, but it could be worse. So as of now he hasn't even equaled Adam's first 3 weeks of sales. Trespassing was at 111,613 in week 3 and at week 13 which this is for Phillip is was at 151,580. I remember quite a few people predicting that Phillip would sell way more than Adam had on his second album because his first did so much better overall. I actually really thought he would do better but he didn't get the radio play this round either. But I honestly thought his touring audience would keep the album selling better than this. Of course if he is selling CD's at gigs but the venues aren't reporting to soundscan he could be selling more than we know. I do know that not all venue sales do get reported because it is apparently a major hassle so sometimes they don't bother.

LOL....there are actually FOO's 'elsewhere' saying P2's sophomore sales have the advantage over Adam's because they are not as front loaded and he will catch up eventually due to his acceptance at radio and more relevance. Spin that spin delusional peeps!

Yes, I read those FOOS rationale also. The thing is, P2 does not have any international sales to speak of either! I am surprised he is not doing better, TBH! I suspected that all the people who bought Home had no idea who was singing it!
