STARDUST, WHERE ARE YOU? HAVE NOT SEEN YOU AROUND AT ALL!! Hi All, I'm back!!! Sorry, I was gone on Alaskan Cruise and cost of internet was prohibitive. Then my Mom got real sick and I've been taking care of her full-time. Finally better now. Now desperately trying to catch up!!

Just because I'm bored! Billboard 200: #30 - Caleb Johnson - Testify (1 week) : DEBUT 10,315 #80 - Kris Allen - Horizons (1 week) : DEBUT (less than 4100) Since we're bored and being snarky, how about this fall fro THE GOLDEN BOY! Behind the Light, the sophomore effort from American Idol season 11 winner,Phillip Phillips, sold 2K this week, a 31% rise due to sale pricing at Google Play and back-to-school promotions at retailers. The numbers give us a rough idea of how well Phillip has been selling week to week. So far, the album has sold 103K. The singer isn’t roaring up the charts, and will likely not go platinum as he did the first time around, but it could be worse.

I think this already popped up somewhere, but including it here.www.billboard.com/articles/news/6228943/crossfaith-phoenix-japan-summer-sonicHere's some numbers for Japan Summer Sonic Festival where Adam and Queen headlined. Summer Sonic, the biggest music festival in Japan devoted to international repertoire, was held Aug. 16 and 17 simultaneously in Tokyo and Osaka. The event has recently seen industry-leading headliners like Beyonce, Rihanna, Jay Z and Red Hot Chili Peppers, and this year the Arctic Monkeys, Robert Plant and Queen with Adam Lambert hit the stage. For Summer Sonic this year, 105,000 attended the two days at QVC Field and Makuhari Messe near Tokyo, and 60,000 came to the Maishima site for the Osaka edition, for a total of 165,000 people. Billboard estimates this generated 1.8 billion yen ($17.3 mil) revenue in ticket sales.
