Ha, ha, Nica575, I had exactly the same thought. I hope Adam has many varied work opportunities because every time he stops, he draws on himself! And of the half-million Adam posts, I seem to recall a few strays...folding fitted sheets (handy, that)...troll dolls(?)...and collecting bull sperm!

Perhaps adams partial tat is the" smile" of a smiley face? Lol I am late to the sewing Econ convo..but I too was required to take the home Econ 1/2sewing 1/2 cooking class..lol. But, i also took woodshop/automotive repair which i loved...aww to the days when there was room to explore areas of study right? I dislike cooking..but I love being able to sew.. I built on what I learned then to be able to make whatever I wanted.. But now mostly just make craft type things..costumes, curtains and stuff.. Fun.. Out for the day with my daughter.. Our annual areas rummage/yard sale sale trail is this weekend.. 100 miles of rummage sales.. Yikes.. *looksatlintinmypocket*

Nah , I don't think so . . . the "Q" starts AND ends in his right arm . this is something new . Oh and I think it was Aleks that said that looks like a . . . crescent ? a moon taking a nap ? a little boat ? tribal banana ? ya...looks like a canoe to me...whatever, it'll grow Im sure.... fucking tragic. This man needs to work non stop, no breaks allowed, else his whole body will get covered... Oh, God, THIS. Dear Adam: Tattoos are not like the blue brothel creepers--they're the fashion choice you can NEVER just kick to the back of the closet. You are gorgeous. I mean, GORGEOUS. Please stop fucking with it. Sincerely, People with eyes.

The tattoo looks like a complete, symmetrical shaped symbol to me. Not the tail end of anything. Looks "tribal" to me. Hope he isn't "cultural appropriating!" Maybe that whole rant was about his soon to be revealed tattoo!! And how fun is it that he is shopping for something for his new house! Warms my heart and makes me so happy for him! #BSC

OK I am going to just focus on how much I LOVE the hair! The color and style is so soft and flattering. I love that he is somewhat approaching his natural color. I remember the absolute shock of seeing him the first time with that very fair skin contrasting so sharply with the black black hair. I loved it. We all did. It worked for what he wanted. But I love this and somehow it is a statement of being comfortable in his own (f***ed up with tattoos OOOPS - not supposed to go there) skin. Kind of like how he talked about hiding behind the mounds of glitter and makeup. Going light and more natural unless the occasion calls for throwing some more glitter on it. I like that. It is a good statement of the confidence and stature he is owning.

It is just my imagination, but I think he probably got teased unmercifully about his freckles as a kid. He does have freckles on top of freckles on top of freckles everywhere (well that he has shown us in public). That would make him a target. He covers up his freckles with make-up, layers of clothes, gloves and tattoos. Such a shame. They are charming, and so unique in their own way. Do LOVE the current hairstyle, tho.

On CNN This morning, Michael Smerconish did a review of rock bands without the original members who were touring this summer. I waited with bated breath and, yes, he showed a still of Adam on stage, and mentioned the tour. He did not comment on the show, but mentioned Adam by name.
PS. You can tell how little I post by my Avi. Note to self, must change Avi to someone who looks like Adam now!!! However, I hasten to say, I read Atop every day!

In fact I was going to say the same exact thing but I promised I would not talk about the f***ing tattoos. I LOVE the freckles. Anywhere they are.

I am neither for or against tattoos in general and yes they can be tacky but I appreciate that every single one of Adam's tattoos has deep meaning to him even if he never completely explains that to us. He has demonstrated that he always has a reason for all of the tattoos that he gets. I don't really think the tattoos are to cover up freckles as the very first one he got was on the inner wrist where there are no or very few freckles. He has also repeatedly talked about loving the artwork of tattoo sleeves. He's not just willy nilly drawing crap on his body but he is painting a story on his body that has meaning to him. A permanent record of important aspects of his life. That in itself is beautiful to me.

Looks like the beginning of a Viking ship, similar to the ones on my t-shirt bought at a Sons of Norway fair. NGL....when I first looked at it, "smile" immediately came to mind. I kept expecting his arm to start talking, like a cartoon..."Hiya, kids! Hiya! Hiya! Hiya!" #timetoputdowncuppacoffeeandstepawayfromkeyboard
