I don't have a top 10 but my favorite "Crazy" performance is the lyric fail one because he turns a fuck up into awesomeness. This is the performance that got the shoe inundation and it was because of how he turned a screw up into something incredible. Tracy Toms was one of the one throwing shoes. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rUZK14GU7Q

Thanks Cassie for doing this. I think I might be spending a lot of time here! I've always loved that "Is This Love" video that Nica575 posted. I love the way he introduces it, the way he sings it and the way he feels it. It always makes me smile.

OK, Cassie - this is an interesting exercise and the selections posted so far have brought back some fond memories, so very briefly here's my list:
1. Come to Me, Bend to Me - This is simply just beautiful. I consider this to be "Adam 101" and is the one song I always refer people to when introducing Adam to friends & family
2. My Conviction - from Hair - I love Adam's funny, campy, and yes even operatic quality here. I also just love the "aaah!" coming in the middle of it.
3. I Can't Make You Love Me - Upright Cabaret - actually anything from his time with the Upright Cabaret, but this is the one that first got to me
4. Soaked - Gridlock - I guess because I was there, but this one literally caught my breath. I couldn't yell or clap or anything - I just whispered to my son, "That was perfect".
5. Who Wants to Live Forever - iHeart at Las Vegas - such an incredibly powerful performance
6. The Show Must Go On - EMA - again, a stunningly powerful performance that in a way introduced Adam to an international audience
7. Heaven on Their Minds - intense - hope he gets to play Judas as some point in his career
8. Is This Love - Sydney - loved Adam doing reggae - this was so sweet and such a departure from what we usually hear from him
9. Shady - with Nile Rodgers & Sam Sparro - wish I could have been there for that one
10. Feeling Good - American Idol - others from AI (Ring of Fire and Mad World)
So. there you have it - an eclectic list but highlights his diversity. It was hard to keep it at only 10 - there are many more I could easily have added.

Who can pick just 10??? I think we should just choose 25 favorites!!! Reminds me of the old Adam DDD forum (which is pretty much dead now). They wanted to put together the best 10 live performances from Adam. After some debate they decided there were so many great ones that they needed to expand the list to the top 15. Then, even that was not enough and they went to 20. One person joked that they should just list every live performance because he was so good all the time.

I'll have to come back to this party after more thought. The few that occurred to me immediately more because they have personal meaning more than are his best vocals although the vocals are of course amazing... Is this Love in Sydney which was first performance of that song and I was there for it (Nica posted vid of on page 1); AND Heaven on their Minds which blew my mind when I stumbled on it during Idol rabbit hole times (vid is posted in same post on page 1). Next would be Soaked in Melbourne (because I was there live and I literally had my mouth open as I recorded it (only thing I've ever recorded and put up on YouTube - decent sound for an iphone): www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqmCu0g8yjMAnd last while I think on it, is radio recording of WWFM during first promo tour here in Melbourne - just gorgeous pure acoustic Adam (side benefit he still had hair and loved the beanie): www.youtube.com/watch?v=szMdfLjICXs
