Who can pick just 10??? I think we should just choose 25 favorites!!! MTE! Actually, I can pick a Top 5 easily, but after that they all become #6. I was trying to think of why that was & I think it is just that I have seen him so many times, I have too many favorites. (I even deleted my previous post because it was all wrong! LOL!) My favorites are almost always something I have seen in person. I do know one thing for sure though, WLL at Fantasy Springs is always at the top for me! Was #1 until WWTLF iHeart, now it's a tie.

Who can pick just 10??? I think we should just choose 25 favorites!!! Reminds me of the old Adam DDD forum (which is pretty much dead now). They wanted to put together the best 10 live performances from Adam. After some debate they decided there were so many great ones that they needed to expand the list to the top 15. Then, even that was not enough and they went to 20. One person joked that they should just list every live performance because he was so good all the time. exactly. Like mys*&@^#r said above - I have several #1s and then its hard to choose. I was even thinking it would be easier to make a list of those I DON'T like but I realized this task would be impossible... I mean there are songs I don't like but the performances are always stellar! I was even thinking of including the Idol WWFM ("I brought lasers") in my list of "the top 10 best" and I really dislike the song... So ya, Adam's brilliant consistency is almost scary! Even the fooling around during sound checks sound perfect! BTW - there were a few posts on Adam's thread at the DDD! I'd like to add to my top 10 the following: The prayer.......http://youtu.be/Bf4s2nW6nYY Crazy.......http://youtu.be/hfFY5jztDCU Born To Be Wild......http://youtu.be/aFCgIkG1Ttc Hot Stuff.......http://youtu.be/13aOBKZIhX0 Twenty Century Boy......http://youtu.be/jpxLjwTn-eE YES! The Prayer is definitely up there! Together with The Shir LaShalom! The latter is another one of my staples - the vocals and the harmonizing are amazing with the added bonus of Adam singing in Hebrew! Of course now we know he doesn't know the language, but at the time a discussion on his way of pronouncing various sounds in Hebrew (on the MCL site) connected me with a person who became one of my closest and dearest friends... So, this one performance holds a special meaning for me. ETA: For some reason I get all teary when I hear him sing in Hebrew... penetrates my soul... www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNb2Qsh0F_Q

I don't know if this can really count as a top ten, more of a "I am pretty darn sure this would be a top ten if I could ever hear the whole thing live" choice: (decent snippet starts at ~0:44)

Okay, this is near impossible. First of all, Cassie, I probably would have listed most of the performances you did in your OLD list as a primer on Adam for someone who was unfamiliar. For that purpose, I would keep a lot of those performances, but for sure Whole Lotta Love would now be eclipsed by any number of the QAL performances. I'll try, but these are not in an order of most-favorite-of-all to most astoundingly-favorite. I'm also only ranking audio. If we talk about videos, that's a different game for me (Dragon Attack, London, Killer Queen--fun stuff). - Broken Open (album version) - made me sob uncontrollably every time I listened until I became a bit desensitized to it. I had to make appointments with myself to listen to it because it was such an emotional experienced. I mostly love the sounds, still cant' tell what some of the lyrics are.
- Underneath - I always put this on replay when it comes up.
- WWTLF - iHeart version. I used to say London Day 2, because of the beautiful high note I was hoping he would do again. However, there is a bit of pitch wobbliness at the beginning of the song, so iHeart has replaced it (unfortunately, "the gentlemen of FUN are the next track---skip).
Okay, now it gets hard because those are my three favorites.
- Ring of Fire from Glamnation CD - even though it's short, it's another replay track for me.
- Kickin' In (album version) - This song is soooo out of my usual, as you can see. But it is so infectious and there are some really clever things in it--the layering of his harmonies and the pause at 2:12.
- My Conviction--just silly fun and the bit of classical sensibility.
- Come to Me, Bend to Me - tone and breath control beyond belief.
Good grief, this is hard. Okay, here goes:
- Down the Rabbit Hole (Vh1 Unplugged)--Remember this one? Plus he did that crazy wobble thing with his voice right at the end.
- Somebody to Love (Izod) - 15 second note and no holds barred vocals. Showy, silly, and pretentious (in a good way)
That's only nine, but it's too hard. I can't single out a last song. Some of it would change next week anyway.

All super positive digitaldreamdoor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=568&sid=8f311720f577ac60eab0ec441894b1eb&start=3240Yeah, I had been following DDD and noticed super positive posts by previous skeptics of QAL, several saying he is sounding better than ever. One poster (non-Glambert) there went to three shows. There's also a post by a Glambert where she said two non-fans who attended the concerts she was at thought Adam was better than Freddie. I also went through all the low rated reviews (1-3 stars) on Ticketmaster. Surprisingly, many of them didn't like the show but it wasn't always because of Adam. It was either they didn't like the setlist, thought the solos were too long, issues with the venue, technical difficulties, etc. There were even a couple of low rated reviewers who loved the show and I think they just put the wrong ratings. I think I saw only about 8-10 reviews where the person just really didn't like Adam at all (there were 872 reviews total, 4.8/5.0 stars). When I really think about, the positive response is way more than I ever expected. To actually have skeptical die-hard Queen fans converted and now singing Adam's praises. There are even posters on Queenzone defending him. I was always afraid to go there before but it wasn't as bad as I would have thought. The naysayers of course were mostly people who didn't attend.
