Great recording and overall a very appropriate and sedate 'Woah' verbal reaction. You were there, you were overwhelmed, save the memory.

bridgeymah, awesome recap - thank you! I was waiting for it! You've mentioned before that you'd let us know of your DH's impressions. So, what did he say? Aside from loving WWTLF... Any other feedback? Aww so sweet you were waiting - hope it was worth it :-) S impressions. Ok so as I mentioned he's almost impossible to impress. He's seen everyone (nearly). His favorite artists are Rammstein, David Bowie and Nick Cave. LOL. He likes Queen but really only knows their hits as when they were big he was listening to Sex Pistols and other punk rock. And I hadn't shown him anything or told him anything about the show ahead of time so he was a virgin so to speak. Soooo after show his comment was that he realized he really doesn't like a lot of their songs BUT he really likes Adam's voice and prefers the way he sings many of the songs he likes to the Freddie versions. A bit of other context he has seen Adam at Palais here in Melbourne during GNT - he was security manager there and was Adams bodyguard for that show. Liking a bit more heavy music he liked SCC. He immediately said after the show that WWTLF was worth the price of admission alone and best song of the night for him by far. He was pretty amused by KQ and stood and stomped along with WWRY but don't think you could not. He likes a good base line and a good drum battle so enjoyed those parts. He thought Brians guitar solo was way indulgent and killed the energy of the room (and he's seen a lot of rooms) although did like the light show during it. He really really liked the light show. Thought the Q acrobatics were pointless but overall staging was great. Thought Roger shouldn't sing solo (really didn't like IAKOM and would have preferred hearing Adam sing it). He agreed with sentiments previously here that Bo Rhap should be just Adam, and specifically felt that bringing Freddie back into it at that late stage was weird seeing he's already had decent amount of recognition earlier in the show, and actually that having him sing the last line of the song was kind of disrespectful to Adam who had just carried the whole thing across the night. That's about all I've gotten out of him so far.

And do we have ITLOTG? I want to hear what he sang at the beginning. Pleeez. haven't seen it anywhere and the first portion of the live stream is not showing up on blakkerz222's MixIR show reel. cross your fingers that one turns up. I hope it does - never heard him do it that way before. Whether he was just playing or missed his cue and had to improv not sure - bit of both I think.

Loved, loved your recap, bridgeymah. Knew I would, but you surpassed my expectations! Thank you!
ETA: Okay, I give up...would someone take pity on me and tell me what ITLOTG is? I ran 10.5 miles this afternoon and have had three glasses of wine and clearly have no functioning brain cells remaining because I keep looking at the set list and can make no sense of this....

LOVED your recap, bridgeymah, and your recording, too. It's a really good recording and I don't mind your little scream a bit. In fact, will have to listen a few more times... Your recap was a great read, and hope you will post anything else you think may be of interest.

And evergreen and myspenser thanks also - glad you liked it. I'll do a bits and stuff I remembered maybe later today. Gotta deal with RL for a bit. Really hope ILOTG emerges was totally different to anything I'd heard him do before.
