Thanks for NZ streams & more thanks to ALL who served up the banquet that was the Summer of QAL 2014! Now I go back to bed... Amen to that. What a miracle to sit all together in all parts of the world and listen in real time and be able to share our feelings. Generous streamers, videographers, photographers - thank you!!!!!  </img>  |

I'm with mys*&@^#r.....onward and upward !!! No sadness or mourning from me. Everything is beautiful !!! This has been a glorious, fabulous surprise summer of QAL fun. The gift Adam gave Brian and Roger is priceless and all the glorious positives Adam received from this experience are invaluable. I sure as heck didn't see all this coming a year ago. Isn't it fun to be so pleasantly surprised? This journey with Adam is gonna be a long road loaded with twists and turns and littered with one "I never saw that coming" after another. I love it!

Wepiha Te Kanawa @wepihatekanawa 1m Vector arena is filling up for the Queen concert, @adamlambert is opening. Looking forward to it.  Best tweet of the tour.....  Over the course of the tour, I ran into so many Queen fans and classic rock fans who thought that Adam was the opening act. One of my tour highlights was telling them that he was fronting the band and seeing their faces do a WTF?!?! as I assured the skeptic, clueless VIP holding people that it would be great. I honestly can't understand spending $375+ for a ticket and not knowing who was performing. My favorite was two guys in the mid-50's? who bought front row seats from a ticket brokers for $2,500 each who were right in front of me at Mohegan Sun 2. They came late so they could miss the opening act -- Adam. The concert had not started when they arrived, they arrived and were talking loudly about how they got it just right and missed Adam. They were surrounded by Adam fans -- who really dominated the front at this show -- and I thought one woman was going to hit them. I explained that Adam was the frontman for Queen on this tour and that he was great, the people all around them told them they were in or a great treat. They were really, really skeptical. They were totally into the show somewhere in the middle of ABTD. After the show, they asked me for info about Adam. Yes, ABTD! |

just got through reading the thread. KUDOS to yall in the US that got up very early, or stayed up very late, to be here and post all the goodies. Can't wait for vids! Thanks espec. to Catz and kiwifever for bringing the concert to us! Catz, can't wait for your's and eri9's reviews! Huge HUGS to all that have brought the vids, pics, tweets, and YT to us during this incredible summer of QAL! to those lamenting the end of this tour, we will have all of the fall to catch up on these awesome concert threads, it should keep us busy for a while! Have they announced who is performing at Superbowl 2105 yet? I can think of a band that would be perfect! It would be a great choice but the Superbowl has asked the performer for 2015 to pay for the spot -- and their top 3 picks are Katy Perry, Coldplay and Rihanna -- www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop-shop/6236404/ferguson-pop-music-superstarsNo sign that any of these three will take the deal. But there is no chance that they would ask Queen to do it, and no chance that Brian, Roger, John or the Freddie Trust would agree. The NFL wants a cut of future concert ticket sales from the artist who performs. Greedy beyond belief. |
