Well, if they were gonna show a few seconds of Adam singing, those were some very impressive notes. Adam had me at "mama", but, if I was watching that news report and had never heard him before, I would have been stunned with that voice. Hopefully some Aussies had a "mama" experience this morning. |

I think Brian cheated a bit. His bucket looked to be filled with ice cubes, but not water. While the ice would be a shock, it would not submerge him like water, and would be easier to tolerate. (And leave the hair looking impeccable.) Adam's dunking was a full bucket of water. Much colder (assuming it was ICE water). Well, you know, ice buckets are not supposed to have water in them. So I think Dr May is the only one that has done it right, so far!  My hubby did the ice bucket challenge and the problem with the ice and water, was that the ice almost immediately dissolved in the water. He ended up with tiny cubes & was accused by son and Son in-law of having no ice! It didn't show up on camera at all. LOL! |

I do not think Brian was worried about cold water -- I think it was all about the hair!! Somewhere in the dark recesses of his blog he wrote about how he takes cold, cold showers every morning.
