I just finished downloading the IZOD audio files that Dancygeorgia so kindly posted for us. O.M.G.  You guys! The audio on these files is STUNNING!!! Dancy you are UNBELIEVABLE!!! I know how much time & effort it takes for you to do this stuff & I just cannot stop thanking you over & over & over. Such amazing stuff!   I looked for it in the IZOD concert thread but didn't see it. Link, please? Thanks! See page 14 in yesterday's thread, about 1/3 way down. This is a temporary location as I do not have the room to host long term someone else's files that I modified. It is a test to see if the increase in volume produces a CD of sufficent volume without indroducing additional distortions. Once several people test by making CDs, the files will be moved to Devenlane's site for permanent hosting. This audio is much better than audio ripped from the fan videos because it was recorded with good mics. However, it does have some mild distortion issues, mostly in the bass & drums of the louder songs because the recording level is set too high, but also in the quiter songs when the person who does the recording claps directly in front of the mics. The problems caused by the clapping could likely be edited out, but it would be a whole lot of work and I have other priorites at the moment. |

I am happy this is a long weekend so I can live stream (fingers crossed) the last two shows. I am really hoping that some Euro dates are announced for the fall - I am not ready for the party to end. That being said I am going to have to get back to "reality" at some point and get some things done. Oh hell who am I kidding I am going to watch all of the show vids back to back to back. I tell myself often, Linda I say, now don't be mean but that devil on my shoulder sometimes just gets the better of me. I want to preface this by saying I think Taylor Swift is a gorgeous girl and her song-writing obviously tapped into a deep need of teenage girls but really, I mean really ... tinyurl.com/mtm32vtI was going to post the sound check of Adam singing Chokehold but it is just not fair. <wryly> If anyone has a cross-account at mj's they might want to post Adam's soundcheck there. They're discussing Taylor's vocals as well and at least one person is wailing "unfair to women because no one does these stripped vocal comparisons to men". It will most likely get deleted because it would be off topic from the 2 being discussed. |
