Love this paragraph from The Rockpit's review.. it says it all, and the guy gets it! And finally: Will Adam do Freddie justice? Yes. Unequivocally yes. Is he Freddie? No he’s not. He doesn’t have to be and he didn’t try to be. He’s Adam Lambert and he’s a perfect fit. He’s flamboyant, charismatic, deliciously sexy and funny. His voice has to be heard to be believed. Range to burn, rich tone and I believed every word he sang. Apart from Freddie I can think of no one else who could pull off ‘Killer Queen’ draped over a chez lounge with a bottle of Moet in one hand and wearing six inch heels. He has a deep understanding of the theatrical and a deep respect for the music. And above all he has fun.
I love this guy review. This guy understands rock music, he understands what rock concert should be ... he understands Queen and knows all the songs. He's a very open minded rock fans and music review. I love his review about each of the members of the band and especially about Adam.
Let's give him a lot of click

So many great quotes in that review. Everytime I read it, i find something else I love about it! “That was the concert against which all else will be measured. Just flawless. There are bands, there are big bands, there are 'the best bands on the planet', and there are the legends and the superstars... And then there is Queen.”

They say the early bird gets the worm but I always thought that also meant that the early worm gets eaten! That said, husband is up at 3am and leaves for work around 5am, so I am usually up very early in an attempt to stay on his schedule. But many is the night I have looked up from videos, noticed that it was close to his wake up time, and rushed to get into bed to fake being asleep so he wouldn't know I had been up all night berting. Lol, this made me laugh, and I had to chime in with that old Shel Silverstein poem: Oh, if you're a bird, be an early bird And catch the worm for your breakfast plate. Oh, if you're a bird, be an early bird, But if you're a worm, sleep late! :D I'm definitely a worm er owl. But my husband's a lark and so we usually try to split the difference and hit the hay around midnight. He falls asleep SOOO quickly it's infuriating. I want to chat away, but we have a rule that I'm not aloud to pause mid-conversation for a few seconds and then keeping talking again, normal voice, because chances are he'll have fallen asleep in the meantime and I'd jolt him awake (I guess that's just how fascinating a conversationalist I am B-|). I counter that he's not allowed to fall asleep before saying the actual words "Good night," because how's a girl to know? Mostly that works. But I can't help it I get so MAD at him as he lies there out cold in seconds, and I lie next to him in the dark, wide awake for another hour, BORED and fuming! Once I tried poking him gently to keep him awake by annoying him, but, um, that didn't turn out so well.

It seems like the owls are outnumbered here. Larks seems to rule the world. Have you ever noticed that the "hard working" employees are the ones who show up early -- like 7AM and leave at 4PM, and the "eccentric" employees are the ones who work 10AM to 9PM or midnight -- working many more hours but getting far less credit. It is the tyranny of the larks! But remember, owl can eat larks. They make a nice snack! Thankfully for all you larks around here I am a vegetarian owl! It's true. (Night owl here.) I think it's the American ethic--"the early bird catches the worm." Actually, a morning person I worked with found a study years ago that concluded morning people are highly energized in the a.m. but hit the after-lunch slump (not me) and then go steadily down hill. Night people take longer to ramp up in the morning but have more productive and can work longer hours than morning people. I felt vindicated.
