The summer of 2014 is coming to a close and was afforded to privilege to review many great concerts in New York. Here are my Top 10 favorite rock bands that I saw live, arranged in no particular order. (QAL mention)Queen featuring Adam Lambert: Adam Lambert paid homage to the late Freddie Mercury while performing with the iconic rock band Queen at Madison Square Garden in New York City. He belted out the high notes, and proved to be a true force to be reckoned with. He had big shoes to fill, but Lambert did his absolute best. He had great stage presence as did guitar master Brian May and Roger Taylor, who impressed on drums. Their versions of "We Are The Champions," "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "We Will Rock You" were stellar.

I tell myself often, Linda I say, now don't be mean but that devil on my shoulder sometimes just gets the better of me. I want to preface this by saying I think Taylor Swift is a gorgeous girl and her song-writing obviously tapped into a deep need of teenage girls but really, I mean really ... tinyurl.com/mtm32vtI was going to post the sound check of Adam singing Chokehold but it is just not fair. |
