Agree with you! Even after 5 years I still cannot understand. Some fans just don't grow up and learn their lesson. I'm sorry I have to say this but outside of Adam's fandom not everything is about Adam. RL is not an Adam centric.

It's around 500 followers per day. I thought that's his normal increase.
On the 27th, it was 1045 new followers. The day before was 565 and the day after (today) is so far at 514. So I do think the Gaga appearance made a difference for at least one day. Yeah, but definitely not sky rocketing. |

I know some have personal issues with anyone being on stage with Adam and Queen, and Gaga. But i think some are being selfish. This was never meant to be a pollished performance, as it wasent rehearsed. But a great moment. That all fans and the public clearly loved. It was a win win for all parties involved, may have only been one song, and whether or not you like Gaga or not, or she is big as she is? Or anyone deserves to be on the same stage as Adam which is ridiclous. Just look at the publicity, media exposure this has garned. This is exactly what Adam diddnt have last era, especially seeing This performance went viral. Im not saying anyone or everyones being selfish, and not seeing all perspectives. Just that Adam wouldent want his fans acting like this, acting as entitled as Freddie purists do with the whole "Adams not Freddie". I believe you are overreaching your personal knowledge when you speak for all fans or for what Adam would want. I don't care for Ms. Gaga's persona and presentation of herself. That is my opinion and I have every right to express it. Nothing I have seen, heard or read in the last few days has changed my mind about that. If the new party line here is that everyone has to be in lockstep on appropriate fan behavior and no one can have or express a dissenting opinion than this is no longer the place that I thought it was. The performance was rehearsed, there were tweets and photographic evidence of that. I do not believe for one second that three very well known perfectionists intended this performance to be unpolished and messy. They may be very happy with it and with the results but to imply that there was no intent for quality is ludicrous. There is no change here. There is not "right way to be a fan" on this forum. And there never will be. There are a few guidelines -- stay respectful, and speak for about about your own opinions, don't make generalizations about Adam fans.... ....think about it "all Adam fan" can't even agree on what to call fans -- there are at least 20 alternatives to "Glamberts". I for one prefer to be known as a person who appreciates Adam. |
