I am glad this is finally on YT. It really shows how much fun they both are having -- and gives a hint of what this moment was like for the audience. I actually hope they get to perform together again -- no rocks it would be great for Adam -- and I think they could really do something pretty cool together. Of course, I would love to see them do a duet of a Gaga song. Now we just need Adam + Madonna, Adam + Prince, Adam + Bowie and my #1 dream collab Adam + Led Zeppelin.

A little OT but this one is for you Q3. My massage lady loves music and goes to these funky little places in Delray Beach FL. well known and loved by musicians. A few weeks ago she was there and in walks Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. They did a 45 minute jam - unannounced and free with the cover. Can you imagine? She was hoping to see Queen walk one night. Told her I didn't think so.

I really don't want this tour to end......we've had full-on Lambert for the entire summer and soon we won't :( "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." Dr Seuss

It really does show that it is just loose and loads of fun and they both look so happy. It's a big win.

I had a strange thought -- I was thinking back to some of the pre-Idol video we have of Adam performing -- in particular with Citizen Vein, and to some of his 2009 post-Idol live performances of WWL when he was blistering hot (Idols Live Memphis for example.)
He had a more aggressive approach to rock performance than he is using in Q+AL. It is one of the things that hard rock Queen fans loved about the band in the early 70's -- the shift from a fairy ballad to an aggressive rock song over the course of the concert made the hard rock numbers even more "rock".
It all seemed to shift maybe with the Fantasy Springs WWL performance -- when I think he started to meld his approach to vocal performance with rock a bit more -- I think this performance was as significant as any other in his career so far. [There are other important performances MW, AMA FYE, etc.]
Flash forward to Queen -- and look at what he does on SCC and TYMD -- they are hard rock songs but with a different vocal approach than a classic rock singer would take. It makes these songs seem new and just a bit different while still respecting the original intent of the song.
I have no idea if this makes any sense, but I will try to find examples and post about it over the weekend.

Told her I didn't think so. The name of the place is Funky Biscuit during their Monday night blues jam. Just trying to imagine being a regular hanging out there and in having those guys show up. Apparently that happens from time to time.
