Nile Rodgers and Max Martin have both worked with many, many artists. But have their paths crossed very much? Have they worked together on any projects? If so, whose? Just curious... And is it likely one or the other will be the producer of Adam's record, or will it be someone from the new record co.? I do not believe that Nile Rodgers and Max Martin have ever worked together. They have produced different tracks on the same album a few times. July 21, 2014: Adam said "I think with this one coming up, without being able to give away all the details of the business plan, it's a much different situation: different label, different producers, different people involved, different management. " Nile did not produce a track on Trespassing -- he is a featured artist on "Shady" which was produced by Lester Mendez. Seems possilbe that Nile is one of the "different producers" on A3. But we have no clue that that happened. All we know is that it is more than Max Martin -- and Max almost always works with other producers. Here is an incomplete list: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Martin_production_discography So while it is possible that Nile is producing a track(s) on this album and that Max Martin is producing some tracks. But the two of them working together seems very, very unlikely to me. If Adam pulled that off it would be biblical and it would have to be some wacky pop-funk-dance fusion the world has not seen yet.

4Msrmyn, thanks for posting that E! True Hollywood story, went really well with my tea. " style="font-size:10pt;"] I would LOVE to see a full hour interview with Lynn Boyles, Adam's first music teacher. She's like you, cassie, she gives me background that fascinates me, and supports my feeling that he is a once in a lifetime talent. I have always thought that one of the reasons Adam touches me so lies in the work that he has put into this. Lynn's comments that at ten he wanted to know how his voice works, and especially my favorite comment, that he wanted to sing his emotions to her? It indicates to me that singing is in his soul, hardwired into him, and that all the rest , the joy, the rawness, the skill, the notes, all spring from that place, and we feel it. That he is one of those people born to do this one precious thing, and had the opportunity and the drive and the need to actualize it.
To me it goes beyond the technical, I know we joke about the Alien From Planet Fierce, but it sure is easy to live in that fantasy. There is just something about that boy, the totality of him, that seems unearthly. So, I would love to hear Lynn discuss all that, at length. It's the part of Adam that most compels me, actually, if I think about it. It translates into feels when I listen to him, but that core place, that primal thing, is so captivating to me. I'm afraid I don't have an hour-long interview with Lynn Boyles. However, in August 2011, Vh1 did their own biographical piece on Adam that included some terrific clips of early Adam singing (Part 1). Since their musical directions/strengths seem to be so different, I'm really interested to see what Adam's involvement with them for A3 will result in. Since staying with a particular genre is passe', we'll just have to wait and be surprised!

So since I'm new here, what is the consensus on possible new material down the road from QAL? Yay or nay? I don't know about a consensus. Seriously, we could probably get into a long nuanced ultimately agree to disagree discussion on whether the toilet paper on the ring should roll sheets to the front or to the back ... so consensus :-S Personally, I am just so ready for A3 that I can barely let it whisper touch my mind without getting excited. I can not wait to see what he is going to do. I think if Adam were more genre specific there would be less anticipation but I am stocked up on wine and ready for the ride. I feet pretty confident that they will perform together again and maybe even contribute to each others separate work, but less confident that there will be a QAL album. I have had this rather odd thought in the back of my mind that Brian and Roger, other than just feedback, have not even broached seriously writing together yet. If it were me, coming from a position of legend, I would not put that much pressure on our collaboration because we all know that songs often just sit in the vault. I can not see Brian and Roger wanting to put Adam in a position of saying, no sorry, it does not fit into the current scheme of things. Being able to sit back on this is one of the advantages of being old and established.

Almost certainly yesterday. The Cherry's and Alisan both posted Sunday Funday beach photos last night. Btw what the heck is wrong with you guys? Cute hair in the face photo and y'all are all talking about old stuff?...???? ;-) I think we were in disbelief that this is a current picture 'cause we are in Adam was sick mode and no one who was sick in the last two weeks could ever look this delectable. My favorite hair look. Yum I still can't believe he was sick last week and performed at 100% the way he did and even needed to be seen by a doctor. He astounds me every time.

I mean, we are a civilized, rational species, are we not?!! *unless you have a cat. Then, DEFINITELY, to the back: Not gonna lie, the fact that we are spending time discussing A3, even though we know less than nothing, is making me very happy. coo.coo.ca.choo: #late, but that " Lick Click to enlarge" made me laugh out loud for realz :D

Remember before A2, before it was even Trespassing, you made a pseudo-songs album based on the hints we had for the different cuts. You had the pseudo-BTIKM and we both agreed that it was OK (or maybe approaching OK) but it better not be the single .... well, I am firmly convinced that that will not happen this time - no way no how. Every now and again, I find myself chanting A3 A3 A3 in my head. So excited.

Being able to sit back on this is one of the advantages of being old and established. Yeah I get that. For being older, those guys, especially Brian, are super busy beyond Queen. Dr. Bri has his hands in like 25 different things at once, so maybe new stuff is not on the horizon. I guess time will tell. If it is meant to be, it will be.
