Q3 posted this tidbit:
"I like numbers and one of the things I did this summer was track my mileage while I trekked around North American to see Queen + Adam Lambert. I just totaled it up and it is a significant number! Just over 24,901 miles (40,075 km). If that number looks a bit familiar, it is the circumference of the earth! (I actually went 9 miles farther - 24,910 miles!)"
Something tells me that Dr. May would be most impressed with this stat.

Good morning. What a GREAT pic!! I'm sitting at the car dealership getting my car checked and so glad I can come here and look at all the Adam 'goodies'! I'll move the pic over to the MSG thread if it hasn't been put there yet. ETA: DONE!

If Dr. May was ever impressed with anything I did that would truly be astounding! But Roger and Brian & Co. flew 11,390 miles (18331 km) just to fly home to London from Auckland.

Q3, loved everything you had to say. Bottom line to me was joy on all the faces on stage as they got to do what they love with people they love and respect. That Adam was shown so much love and confidence by these veterans, and Rufus, of course, speaks volumes. So many of us have said it in so many ways, but it is the truth, Adam is unique as both a performer and a human being, and to have discovered him sans make up, glam, and boots so long ago fills me with gratitude to whatever forces put me in front of my TV that fateful night (when I had probably seen a total of 5 or 6 episodes of Idol in the previous 7 seasons.) We are a lucky bunch!
