I need one more volunteer to help with the Q+AL recap threads. You just "have to" watch videos and pick the best one for each song at the concert, select 10 great photos from the thread or online, and find all the reviews (by reporters, not fans).

Also, I am working on putting together a Q+AL Digital Scrapbook & Album that will be downloadable. To do this I need the absolute best photos from the tour with the date and concert ID, and the absolute best performance video of each song!
I also want any brilliant tweets about it or great reviewer comments (with links) or unusual events or amazing GIFs.
So that I can keep this organized, I thought it would be best to do it by song -- starting with NIH. So give me a hand, post your pick for the best NIH performance -- it must have the curtain lift -- and the best NIH photos.
And for this video, I also want videos of times when the curtain was messed up. For example, IZOD, East Rutherford, NJ was a curtain error.
So please give me a hand -- and post these in today's thread.

Yeh, Although I think that Adam would get the better of Jared. And, and in the singing department also!  I have no doubt! Honestly, I got caught up in the Jared bandwagon from when he won the Oscar. I'm not even excited about the concert. The only bad part about seeing the best concert of my life in QAL is that it ruins everyone else from this point forward. I will forever compare everyone else and there's no comparison to be had. |

I have a huge presentation to make and am researching Martha Graham at the moment. This is not as OT as it seems. She was sitting with Agnes de Mille and said the following beautiful words - straight from the soul of a creative and courageous genius.

Yeh, Although I think that Adam would get the better of Jared. And, and in the singing department also! I think Adam & Jared are friends. I love Adam but I think Jared is very talented both vocally and as an actor. Not better just different. |

Kickin In is one of my favorite tunes live. Here's another one from Cos2mwiz from Bleaulive in Miami 4 months later. Like you, since I was there up close, it's really special. That was a great, intimate venue and he looked mighty fine!
And that move that starts at ~2:57? Had to watch that several times to make sure it was as wonderful as i thought, and after careful consideration and several more views, I can share that it was indeed that wonderful. Until I saw 5:54, that is. 5:54 it is -  |

- I wonder if he has sought comfort in any dalliances during or after the tour.

I have a suggestion for a structured approach and to reduce the subjectivity: The performance of NIH can be split into the following parameters: *Intro - how many beats after Brian starts before Adam jumps in, quality of the delay effect. Did the videographer catch the Here/There on the two screens? *Curtain lift - did it work. As Q3 suggested, we can drop those videos where it did not work *Is there a Q - Vegas did not have the Q screen, so even if the vocals were great, it might need to be dropped as it does not represent the full impact of the stage *Did the mike work? Chicago does not qualify... *First verse - any lyric fails? Who was in the dungeon? Peaches or somebody else? Sometimes "came" becomes "comes"... *Guitar to second verse *Second verse - any lyric fails? *Guitar to bridge - does it contain "Little Queenie"? *Bridge - any lyric fails? A few times Adam got the wrong lines, singing about matches lighting up the sky. *Pause *Did the videographer even record the rest? If not, the particular YT cannot be used, find another one  *Now I'm Here - did he mention the city? Not sure if the best version should contain it or not. It probably should. *Quality of the delayed Around-Around, length of the sustained note... *Finale *Audience Reaction throughout and in the end Now make an Excel or Google spreadsheet, write down all cities in the columns and the above parameters as the rows and start adding + and - signs for each parameter based on any video of each city. Any entry with - signs can be skipped until you find the concert with only + signs. If you don't, then find the one with the least - signs... Then find the best one or two recordings of the top 3 cities and let's vote... Just an idea |
