I can't find any explanation for the secrecy -- the date of the Grand Finale was not secret last year. They must have something special planned. Maybe it is just going to be a private event? No performance, just the M& G?! You would think with the secrecy that the president was coming! Oh wait, the Queen is coming!!!  |

This is probably my least fav pic of Adam out in the limelight! :oOn a picky note...Comparing dress wear to a costume.....and the costume wins out. Yikes! Blue suit compared to the blue shirt pic is more the proof in the puddin' re his transformation. Wonder if Adam would consider this equal to his view of the poncho fashion....mis cue....?   I liked the poncho more...haha...at least his hair was cuter! |

Does he keep his arms to his sides a lot? He did that in a few of the pics with Brian and Roger as well. Some people even took it to mean something more than it is. Yes he does, with his palms facing backward which I have always thought was unusual. Most people when standing or even walking, have their palms facing toward their body but not Adam. I tried researching if there was any physiological reason for palm direction but came up empty. I finally decided it is just what superstars do. "something more"? I am not even sure I want to know. ....he wants us to be able to see all his great rings. |

Well you could argue Adam hasen't had this amount of publicity and exposure since his run on Idol. Combined with his QAL Tour that is. I also think their was a concern if he ever judged Idol, their would be that stigma associated with being a former alum. But I think what this is saying, is that he is no longer just former alum, he is a fully fledged superstar. And status quo has changed, he has now earnt the right to be alongside JLo and Harry. Even just a one time thing has produced so much PR, so I agree it's more a perfect storm thing. It's also a sign of a shift in Adams career. He is an artist well in truley in demand, and is very current. All this bodes well for a very succesfull Era 3 hopefully, have a feeling he is on the verge of megastardom. Using Google News as a measure -- this is not even close. It is smaller than Glee so far. #1 Idol shock - Adam beaten #2 AMA's --very close to as big as Idol finale coverage - new album news mixed in #3 May 2010-June 2010 Pre-Glam Nation Tour press + Adam not at Idol finale + Start of tour. #4 Adam new Queen frontman - 2011 But on the bigger point, this is great for Adam and along with the Queen +AL tour, he looks golden right now. |

I don't remember Glee or Queen frontman getting on Yahoo's front page much. He's still on there at midnight, granted it's an Examiner article now but it's "mainstream" which is one of the areas he hasn't got much coverage in. |
