Agree! As most of you know, I am a HUGE Idol fan! How huge? I have watched every show since midway through season one. Yes, I even watched all of Season 9! Last year, Harry was my least favorite judge. Total camera hog. Tries too hard to be funny. And surprisingly, his knowledge of songs and modern music doesn't hold a candle to Keith's. Harry is great in his genre. Outside his genre, he was clueless! Keith is a walking music encyclopedia! If you are judging "Harry as a judge" by his previous times on Idol as a mentor, don't. You had to watch last year to get a full picture! I did watch most of the Idol live shows this past season and I very much liked Harry as a judge!!! I thought his critiques were mostly spot on. I agreed with him 75% of the time which was way more than I agreed with JLo. I thought he tried to give the contestants useful information to help them. And I was not turned off by his carrying that girl on his shoulders like I've many pictures of people doing at outdoor rock concerts.I also though that the judges panel this past year was way better than it has been since the original 3. And if they had brought Paula back instead of JLo I would have said it was even better than the original. Have to jump in here. That was way over the line. That girl looked about 15...he's in his 40's? He's got his head inbetween her legs. At first I thought - wait, is that his daughter? ...uhmm...no. Way, way inappropriate in my opinion. (I also thought she looked a tad uncomfortable). I think those people you see doing the same thing at concerts aren't strangers. lol

Do you think JLo wore blue today and NO pants to get the attention back on her! t.co/UIykksWAokNo. JLo is a superstar. She has absolutely no reason to feel insecure or "grab for attention". Her outfit is typical JLo. She likes to flaunt her body because she's got a great body. Yesterday that was a discussion about what each judge brings to the judge's table. JLo is a global superstar who is a charismatic and dynamic performer. That is what she brings to the AI judge's table.

Am I the only one who screamed out, " Oh, I love that man!", after hearing his introductory words. LOL What a sweetheart.

I'm going to defend JLo as a judge too. I thought she actually had some insightful moments with the contestants and she does know how to entertain and command a stage and she tried to pass on some of that knowledge. And I did think that Harry got a little weird -- maybe he got bored and he was trying to shake things up? -- maybe the producers asked him to? We'll never know, but that girl on his shoulders was not good. I know he has daughters, but ...

That girl was about 12! 15 year old girls look like adults! So inappropriate, it was ridiculous! I thought it was his daughter at first too & when I realized it wasn't .... Ewwwwww! Let's not forget that girl had shorts on! Agree with everything you said!

Does JLo's outfit remind anyone else of the female uniforms on the 1960s original version of Star Trek?

That dress is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen - hope she's wearing matching panties!

Interesting article from MJs: Who Buys Music Anymore? A Statistical Inquiry1. Who buys CDs? The middle-aged. Sixty-one percent of people who buy CDs are 36 and older, according to MusicWatch’s estimate. Ten years ago, that figure was just 36%. Back in 2004, people over 50 made up just 19% of the CD-buying population, but today they’re more than a third. This could help explain the relatively high number of veteran artists who have notched their first career No. 1 albums in 2014, including Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Black Keys, Sia, and Weird Al Yankovic. 2. Among music buyers in general, teenagers just aren’t the force they used to be. As a group, 13 to 17-year-olds have plummeted to a mere 7% of the CD-buying population, down from 14.9% in 2004. Their share of digital purchases, either singles or albums, is also down a healthy 12 percentage points — to just 13% — as downloading has become more mainstream among older demographics. 3. Digital downloading is no longer a male-dominated activity. A majority of people who bought music digitally in 2014 were female (53%), according to MusicWatch’s estimate — a big change from 2004, when 60% of digital purchasers were male.
