*walks in quietly..looks around...* Can I come back and play? The damn hat did it....  Had to take a break and reorganize some personal priorities. I see some shallow enders on the thread..I haven't splashed in such a longggg time. I think I've become a prune. Got some new water wings, tho..be happy to try em out!  Such innocence... Darlin'..my whole legacy was the shallow end stuff! Why change the schtick now? Welcome back! The world here & out there needs more laughter, shallow end peeps unite! BTW - yesterday's thread is worth a read for a giggle or two. That thread was a rockin' riot and I was chewing on a bone, I wanted in on that convo so badly! Glad you are onboard, GracieJane! Yes, Melliemom, I even have color on my cheeks now..lol..it was wise to leave for a bit. Be with me.
The concerts were the greatest gift I've ever received. I had to see if I could create a life without living

I've read that about Barbra , no vocal training... kind of like Freddie Mercury... Big difference between the two -- Freddie had music lessons (piano) and could read (and write) music. Barbra -- had a few singing lessons when she was young, but quit. She does not know how to read music. Very unusual for someone who has such a sophisticated vocal style. |
