A gentleman never kisses and tells In all seriousness though it is far more likely the DVD would be released just post tour - possibly around the same time as A3...Perhaps DVD March, A3 April. Brian and Roger can be very meticulous but they also can be rather quick if necessary. I mean you only have to look at QPR. With QPR, the first time around in 2005, they had a gig in May 2005 and it was released that same September on CD and October on DVD In 2008 QPR played a gig in the Ukraine in September and it was released in June of 2009. If they had recorded earlier gigs in the summer, a December/Jan release date would be more likely, however if we go by the more likely Australia date, that's where we say we won't see a DVD til March or so. It's possible that they decide to hold it back til next summer after A3. All I have talked to have said little about a release date beyond that it was on the table. It's reassuring to know about that May to September timeframe as an indication of how quickly they can work. It makes more sense to me that they would release it at the end of the tour though. Someone who knows more about marketing could probably comment better than me about whether they release it close to Adam's A3 release to increase the overall publicity available to Adam at that time, as a helping hand. If it would help, rather than detract, I believe they would be open to synchronise release dates in this way given how they feel about him. Given the production of this concert, they will be spoilt for choice of visual. I have to say that I didn't really take my eyes of Brian, Roger and Adam, being so close to the stage. I rarely looked at the 'Q' and I only vaguely noticed the light show during Brian's solo and during WWTLF. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of that part of the concert. It would be interesting to know how much input they will allow Adam. I can't imagine that he won't be short of opinions. BTW, I've spent the last couple of days luxuriating in Live at the Rainbow, through my sound system. Finally. It was quite overwhelming given what I remember about seeing Queen live, which is quite a bit actually, although it was a decade on from these concerts. I loved the elegance and simplicity of the visuals. I found the sound astonishing. I made myself take my eyes off Freddie, which was always a problem I had. They were all so very beautiful. Early Queen is my favourite Queen.

Absolutely. I think a project like this DVD/Blu Ray wouldn't be so big as to spoil sales for A3 so it could be at least a concurrent release (within the same quarter).
I'm betting that generally QPL team would have a go at assembling a rough cut, with Justin Shirley and Joshua Macrae checking on sound. They would present it to B&R who would show Adam and they would have their input and it would go from there.
As for Rainbow and early Queen...I'm right there with you! Listening to Rainbow also makes me realize how much I miss John Deacon....but ah well...

Listening to Rainbow also makes me realize how much I miss John Deacon....but ah well... The most noticeable missing piece to me is Freddie on piano. I've loved his voice and that is what most talk about but it's the piano being a more "upfront" instrument that's lacking in the post Freddie era. He played it with as much passion as he sang. Also, hearing him again on these songs, I was surprised at how much I missed hearing him.
Is the release doing well numbers wise??

Adam's song and the beautiful lyrics inspired me to make this oil painting "Lava flows" rpeura, how truly beautiful. I absolutely love how Adam's beauty in all it's forms, vocal, spiritual, physical, emotional, intellectual ripples into so many forms of expression in others. I cannot imagine that he could be anything but humbled by what he inspires in others. Thank you for sharing it here. How big is the canvas? Was it painted in one sitting? Is that a particular favourite song?

I absolutely LOVE the lyrics
