That is almost as much as the entire tour that just ended. I sure as hell hope we don't have him touring into April! Could be since Europe is a lot bigger than North America (people and Queen fans) -- 742 million people. I think it has to be 20+ shows for the initial announcement to make financial sense. My guess is 24-28 shows -- and done in March. Then we get A3. WOW! I really hope you are right Q3. And I love to see CR on the list. Having Adam and Queen in Prague would be amazing! I know, they were there with PR. So... I can't wait to Monday!!! :D

Short simple answer: This file will play in VLC Media Player which is a free software available for Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs. It will NOT play with Windows Media Player or QuickTime or even QuickTime Pro. It will also likely play with any free or commercial software that specifically plays DVDs and/or Blu-Rays. For example, it does play in CyberLink PowerDVD on my Windows PC. Technical answer:This is because not all MP4 files are alike! MP4 is NOT a video format. MP4 is a CONTAINER format. A container is a file format that "contains" 1 or more "streams" - video is a steam, audio is a stream, and sub-title text is a stream, all of which can be contained in the same container file. And there can be more than 1 sub-title text stream in a container file, e.g., separate sub-title text streams for different languages. And there can be more than 1 audio stream in a container file, again, maybe in different languages, or even just a different audio mix. For example, one of the 2012 London QAL video files has 2 different audio streams with 2 different mixes of the audio from 2 different sources. (ETA - The video play handles mixing the video strean with the selected audio and/or sub-title text streams at play time.) There is a free software (available on both Windows and Mac) called MediaInfo which can tell you exactly what the video and audio formats are inside of any video or audio file. Looking at a MP4 file downloaded from YouTube, the audio is usually in AAC format, which is the default format for iTunes and all things Apple. (The AAC audio format is basically the same thing as a M4A audio format, just a different name for the same thing in most cases.) Looking at the Supersonic downloaded MP4 file in question with MediaInfo, the audio is in AC-3 format, which is the Dolby Digital audio format used on DVDs. This is why WMP and QuickTime will not play the audio in this file but other media players with more support for playing DVDs will play this format. Other common video container file types that you may see Adam/QAL video in are TS, MTS, M2TS (same thing as MTS). ETA - In contrast, a MPG video file is NOT a CONTAINER file! In a MPG file, the video and audio are tightly woven into a single "stream" and there is no need for mixing of the video and audio at play time. It plays on my Windows Media Player just fine! It actually depends on the version of Windows Media Player AND the exact version of Windows. By that I mean not just Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8, but also whether it is the Home, Home Premium, Ultimate, Pro, etc. version of Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8. It might even depend on if it is a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows. Here is a link from a PC manufacturer about it: To add another complication, whether Windows Media Player will play AC-3 audio may also depend on the container format. In this link, someone is complaining that WMP will play AC-3 in the MKV container format but not in the MP4 container format: I have only tried playing the SummerSonic MP4 file on 1 of my PCs, a Windows 8 PC, on which I have installed additional audio codecs (more about that in a minute). WMP will play the AC-3 audio, but only if I start playing from the beginning of the video and only on the 1st pass through, i.e., it will not replay after it gets to the end. If I try to skip ahead to the middle of the video, WMP just crashes. And when I do let it play from the beginning, there are some minor short pauses in the video. I have none of these problems when playing this video in VLC Media Player - it really is a superior media player! There may be a way around WMP not playing AC-3 audio and that is to install audio codecs for AC-3. A "codec" is a small software code that an audio player uses to decode or interpret the audio file and convert it into sound. Each audio format will have its own codec. These codecs are usually written by different companies that the media player software company. Most media players use many of the same codecs as other media players. Here are links for installing the audio codecs that will allow WMP to play AC-3 audio, as well as FLAC audo, for various Windows operating systems: Windows 8 codec pack: download.cnet.com/Windows-8-Codec-Pack/3000-13632_4-75871449.htmlWindows 7 codec pack: download.cnet.com/Windows-7-Codec-Pack/3000-13632_4-10965840.htmlWindows Vista codec pack: download.cnet.com/Windows-Vista-Codec-Pack/3000-13632_4-75157207.htmlWindows XP codec pack: download.cnet.com/XP-Codec-Pack/3000-2170_4-170400.htmlETA - But note in the comments at these links that if you take the default options during the installation process, it may install unwanted additional junk software that you do not want!!! Be careful to uncheck the box "Install Search Protect"!!!!!!!!!! Bottom line, much safer to just install VLC Media Player if your current version of WMP does not play some audio formats!!!!

So disappointed. I downloaded the Summersonic video this afternoon before it was taken down. Unfortunately, the video is amazing, but there is no sound. Should have checked it right away. Maybe the poster will be able to put it up again. javascript:addS('http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Moiii-1.gif',' ');popCollapse() Did you try playing it in VLC player. A few people commented before that they didn't get sound in Media Player or other players, but VLC worked fine. Holst: You could try VLC for Mac. Thanks, Blaky. I haven't heard of VLC before, but I downloaded the YouTube version instead. Works great.

I downloaded it too. I'm on a Mac and it downloaded as a .MP4 file format. Can't play it at all. It looks like it should open in QuickTime--but doesn't. Waaaaa! I keep learning more and more here.

Everybody should have VLC player on their computer. It's my go to place for everything that my computer won't automatically play. It's FREE and simple. I have zero tech skills, and simple and dependable is what I like and need.
As good as the Youtube download is......the direct DL is a whole other ballgame....at least to me. It's crisp, sharp and the sound is even better. It's soooo good.

Adam content: I am OBSESSED with I Was Born To Love You. OBSESSED, I tell you. I want to marry it and make little IWBTLY babies. I want to wear it. I want to write a thesis on it. Live in it, swim in it. Wear it like perfume. I'm surprised my neighbors haven't complained. I'm a goner. He better never ever sing that song in that black and white outfit, I am pretty sure I would explode. Please, do not explode:) Red panda, I have exactly the same feelings
