A bit of info from herself. Someone who went to her event in Ohio said that Diana said there is a 9th AND 10th book. She also says next one in 2-3 years but I wouldn't hold my breath on that. MOBY came out much later than anticipated. two to three years? Means i will prob start all over again and read read read

Will somebody make me stay the hell off of Etsy. I'm turning into a Outlander Starz shopaholic.
I'm too embarrassed to tell you what I've purchased since the show went on hiatus. Since there is nothing to buy for Adam, my dollars are going to Outlander related items
ETA and I'm not even a Scot!!! I'm almost 100% Sassenach

(mostly low lander though) Well you are a desert dweller so I'm not sure you would be interested in the knitwear that's been created that looks like what's been worn on the show. I've gone a bit bonkers over the arm warmers and gauntlets. I've decided to make my own cowls because the knitting group has the patterns. I bought some handspun/hand dyed yarn that the creator has titled Jamie Fraser that is a more modern color scheme. I'll save it for a bit till I get my skills up to speed then make some Mrs Fitz Mitt's out of it. Today I bought a purse made out of the Fraser Hunting Tartan from Scotland. Dear Gawd I'm not a Fraser but it was a lovely purse :DDD Just go and enter Outlander in the search. Zillions of things from jewelry to candles to bookmarks. And there is a woman making a replica of the wedding ring from the show. And much cheaper than the Outlander store. I'm not buying it though.

actually the cowl could work for me. We get cold weather in the winter, seldom under 32, but still cold. In defense of my Scott ancestors, low they may be, but they fought at Battle of Culloden and ran around the Highlands for a while to escape the British. Clan Strange.

The cowl is relatively easy to knit and is supposedly a weekend project. I figure I can listen to an Outlander audiobook while I do it. I have knitted a very little bit but it was ages ago so I have to brush up. I am a lefty but will knit like a right hander so if I have any problems my daughter can help. There are tons of cowls for sale
