On Rollingstone.com, you can see a vid of the Zac Brown band covering Bo Rap at the Iheart festival this year in Vegas. I think this is a really talented band, but this cover doesn't work for me at all. The vocals don't work but also really miss Dr. May's sweet guitar. Evidently they've been practicing this cover for nearly a year and said it was the hardest they've ever attempted. www.rollingstone.com/music/videos/zac-brown-band-bohemian-rhapsody-video-20140930I think the one by Panic at the Disco was actually pretty good and valiant effort by that band but without Dr. Bri, that song just isn't the same if you ask me. He is really the glue that holds that song together, IMO.

I think I kind of underestimated how big Queen still are until this year. They are still pretty huge worldwide. Here's an idea of how big Queen is in the UK -- 1 in 6 UK households own a Queen album!! Queen have made UK chart history by becoming the first act to sell six million copies of an individual album. For comparison -- Queen's greatest hits have "only" sold 8 million copies in the US, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Since the UK population is only 64 million and the US has 325 million residents --- that gives you a bit of scale. By some measures Queen is >> Beatles in the UK. Dang, that's awesome. I'm a huge fan but I never knew that about the UK stats. "Only" 8 million is kinda funny, LOL. That's a dream number for 90% of other acts.

I know Queen is well-loved in the UK. Can they sellout 7-8 big venues, especially in the winter? I know, I worry too much!!!
