I could and do watch these moments in STL over and over again. At 2:10 he hits that note and it is so perfect that at 2:20 he closes his eyes and goes completely into the sound holding and feeling its purity. It wasn't planned, he had never done it before, he just felt it as a perfect place in time. It is a little slice of heaven for me, an angel on ice skates moment. www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQAuooJ3V6c#t=130I wholeheartedly agree. WWTLF is rightly an emotional and vocal masterpiece of this show, amongst a constellation of beauty. But STL, to me at least is equally brilliant. The one-two-punch of this song after Killer Queen and I could feel the energy level of the crowd at the shows I was at really relax and go to another level of ecstatic. I would have truly loved to hear Don't Stop Me Now after this song. Is this one of the 'top 5' moments of the tour that Adam said he would choose? I've lost the plot a bit. There was the Perth 'call and response', what else? Congratulations to everyone who has tickets to the Europe/UK concerts - especially the people seeing the show for the first time. You have waited so patiently for your turn and will explode with joy. And other world travellers, you lucky buggers! But then, Adam loves return customers, doesn't he? This series of concerts is so special - a renewal of the Queen brand as a performing band - the fire, spectacle and pageantry that they were always known for. Adam showcasing the enormity of his talent on a worldwide stage in arenas. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if Q+AL won a Grammy for any video they release of these concerts. I would stake a large sum of money on it happening.

They are not alone -- there is a very long list of Grammy misses. ** 1977 Grammy Award nominations: Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo, Group or Chorus and Best Arrangement for Voices ("Bohemian Rhapsody") The winner -- "If You Leave Me Now" - ChicagoYes, it was nominated as a pop song because there was no rock category in 1977.1981 Grammy Award nominations: Producer of the Year (Non-Classical) with Mack (The Game) and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal ("Another One Bites the Dust") The winner -- Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band for "Against the Wind"Yes, it was nominated as a rock song because a rock band can't be nominated in R&B where it would not have won either.2002 Grammy Award nomination: Best Long Form Music Video for Freddie Mercury (Freddie Mercury: The Untold Story) The winner -- Peter Gelb (video producer), Susan Froemke (video director & producer) & Mel Brooks for Recording the Producers - A Musical Romp with Mel BrooksIt seems like Queen should have won a lot of Grammys but they were always a bit out of sync with the categories and the voters.*** Not Grammy awards but by the Grammy Trustees. Grammy Hall of Fame Songs -- almost 400 songs have received awards. Queen has two. The GRAMMY Hall Of Fame was established by The Recording Academy's National Trustees in 1973 to honor recordings of lasting qualitative or historical significance that are at least 25 years old. But in a way, I think that is exactly what could play in their favour this time. No one expected this tour - including Brian and Roger - and they are not performing in any way like 'golden oldies'. It is a spectacular show, spectacular catalogue, has been critically welcomed on the whole and will make a great video. I think I am equating it to oscars being given to actors, such as Paul Newman for the first time late in their careers/lifetimes almost to remedy an oversight earlier on. Perhaps that is romantic on my part. And maybe, just maybe having someone from the US 'standing in' so to speak, in such an unexpectedly brilliant way (not to us though!), may also be a factor in their favour. We shall see. But I agree, based on the facts alone, it is unlikely.
