Was working on computer versus watching tv, but...........srly? Oy....... You made a wise choice, IMHO. This whole show has been flat & lame. I'm kinda hoping our Adam passes on it if ever asked. SNL just ain't what it used to be. I dont agree with that. I dont think Adams in any posistion to turn down anything mainstream or any big oppurtunities. It may not be what it used to be critically. But commercially it still generates alot of revenue per ad spot, and is still a ratings puller. Snl is still a relevant spot for live acts to perform their music, Jmo.

And it is a damp cold! -- goes straight through to the bones. I've been to London in winter and summer. I remember wearing all my layers in July and I was still freezing while waiting in a very chilly train station!!!
eta I meant to quote Q3 would mentioned that it is more likely to rain.

Just watched a copy of the SNL skit. It was a routine where Joan Rivers goes up to heaven and roasts the various celebrities there (Richard Pryor, Ava Gardner, Lucille Ball, Ben Franklin, Steve Jobs, Freddie Mercury). Honestly, the issue wasn't Adam Levine as Freddie (was a blink and over bit), it just was that the skit had poor timing and came off flat. If you want to watch, there's a copy here: www.mjsbigblog.com/sarah-silverman-skits-saturday-night-live-video-snl.htm

I was wearing layers at Wimbledon one year -- someone told me once that London weather mimics Seattle.
