"American Idol" Season 14 is a few months away and FOX has released new promo photos featuring judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. along with host Ryan Seacrest. You can check them out above.
Auditions have already been underway this Summer including stops in New Orleans, Long Island, Nashville and San Francisco.
Keith Urban had to bow out for auditions for a short time for personal family reasons and "American Idol" alum Adam Lambert filled in. He was the first alum to sit behind the judges seat during the shows existence.
Host Ryan Seacrest has been there since the beginning and will return along with judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr.
Senior Executive Vice President of 21st Century Fox, David Hill said, "Jennifer, Keith, Harry and Ryan are the very best in the business at what they do, and I'm thrilled that they are returning to "American Idol" for another season. FOX's long-standing singing competition will return for a 14th season in 2015 but there will be changes to the format for the new season. Fox entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly told reporters Monday that "American Idol" will be "streamlined" when it returns next year, Entertainment Weekly reports.
"American Idol" appears be following the lead of some other reality TV shows including "Dancing with the Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance," which were also trimmed down to one episode per week. Reilly said the show could have fewer show hours next season "around 37," instead of the usual 50-plus it's been airing and also shared, "I think it will be a two-night format initially during the audition phase, and will quite likely end up as a two-hour show on one night for most of its run."
Ratings for the popular FOX show have been declining steadily for the past several years, but the viewership is still steady enough to guarantee at least one more season of the longstanding show. "American Idol" has produced such stars as Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson, Phillip Phillips, Colton Dixon and more.

I saw a post in yesterday's thread about Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam, but didn't quite understand them (the screencap was from Ticketmaster btw) - so I looked into it. (The links are for source purposes and how I clicked to the next.) Here's the venue's page about QAL concert tickets www.ziggodome.nl/event/514/Queen-+-Adam-Lambert It's in Dutch but you can see that the only link for tickets is to local Ticketmaster site (which is why I assume other sites possibly offering tickets are resellers). There you'll find this list www.ticketmaster.nl/artist/queen-adam-lambert-tickets/940418?language=en-us with different types of tickets offered. Normal priced tickets and seat map is here www.ticketmaster.nl/event/queen--adam-lambert-tickets/137463I counted the blue dots a couple of times during two hours and I got from 15 to 27 seats in the uppermost level, back corners. I also tried Platinum seats (in sections 102 and 111) and was able to get seats. I guess there are VIP packages left too but regular tickets are practically gone. Naturally I have no idea if they're holding some tickets to be released later but I don't see a point keeping whole sections to themselves when there's only handful to sell > probably the usual artist/media etc tickets and possible unsold vips closer to the concert date. To me, this is in the sold-out range.The UK venues are more confusing with several official sellers and resellers on top of that - I believe they are selling well but would be grateful for any reports from locals. Thanks for the Birmingham one! I'm also eagerly waiting to see what happens in Germany after this first public sales day. |

Congrats to all who are planning to go. You'll have a blast :D A bit O/T but for anyone who had any interest in getting into Roger Taylor's solo career, he is releasing a Best Of in October: Queen OnlineAmazonIt's a good mix of all his solo albums (not any of his stuff with the Cross). It's not QUITE what I would have put on a Best of, but it's not bad at all! |

Wasn't this for a children's charity in England.. lots of children and parents in the audience..There is one little girl with sparkly dress who is into it,some of the other children are crippled ,if this is the event I'm thinking of. |
