Queen + Adam Lambert now rumoured for Glastonbury 2015

Rock legends tipped by bookies



After tickets to Glastonbury sold out in a record time of just over 25 minutes, the rumour mill for next year's event continues - with Queen and Adam Lambert being the latest act tipped to top the bill.

All 135,000 general tickets were sold out in a flash yesterday, after 15,000 coach and ticket packages went in just 15 minutes earlier last week. Impressive, seeing as no line-up announcements have been made yet.

However, that hasn't stopped the speculation. Fleetwood Mac are currently bookies' favourites to headline, with AC/DC and Muse also hotly-tipped. However, an interesting development over the weekend saw odds on Queen headlining cut from 20/1 to 14/1.

"There are some massive names in the frame but the money suggests Fleetwood Mac are the most likely, although today’s gamble has been for Queen," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

Glastonbury 2015 takes place from Wednesday 24 to Sunday 28 June, with other rumoured acts including Foo Fighters, Depeche Mode, AC/DC, Diana Ross, Foals and Fatboy Slim.

Queen and Adam Lambert have announced details of a UK and European tour for 2015, so they'll certainly be on the road - and certainly have the status and catalogue to pull off topping the bill on the Pyramid Stage.
