So perhaps a modified dream is in order. Perhaps Adam could perform his version of "Ring of Fire" as part of the Grand Old Opry show -- although it really is the wrong audience. May I suggest that Adam + Brian + Roger + an all star country band perform + a sitar player or two perform "Ring of Fire" on the Country Music Awards. They they do a country version of BoRhap! You don't need an extra sitar player when you've got Brian May. I've always wondered about the bit in White Queen that sounds like Brian playing the sitar, and finally went through the trouble of asking Google. It came up with this: Brian (1982): "I have a very old, cheap Hairfred which makes that buzzy sound that's on Jealousy and White Queen. I've never seen another one like it. I made it sound like a sitar by taking off the original bridge and putting a hardwood bridge on. I chiseled away at it until it was flat and stuck little piece of fretwire material underneath. The strings just very gently lay on the fretwire, and it makes that sitar-like sound."
I just love that guy! Can I just add that you would need some tabla players as well for Adams Ring of Fire?? And coincidentally I know how to play the tabla, so I hereby volunteer to complete the band.

I have been thinking about Bri's tweet.... Dr. Brian May @drbrianmay 12m12 minutes ago THANKS Folks. Your song ideas are cool. We'll be chatting soon - Adam, Rog and Me. And there's an interesting trip coming up soon. Bri *** Since he mentioned "Adam, Rog and Me" in the same tweet, seems like it is Q+AL related. Since it is related to song ideas, seems like it is performance related. Since they are promoting the UK-Europe Tour, my bet it is in Europe, not the US. Since Queen is getting ready to release Queen Forever on November 10, 2014, my bet is that it will be before that release. The best fit I can find - MTV Europe Music Awards with will be held at The SSE Hydro, Glasgow, United Kingdom, on 9 November 2014 -- the night before the QF release.AMAs are on November 23, 2014 in Los Angeles. Would be great for Adam but does not make any sense for Queen.
I'm with those who suspect it's the Classic Rock Awards Brian's talking about, but I would love to see Adam perform with Queen again at the EMAs, this time in Glasgow, Northern Ireland.

Oh midwifespal, you geographic jokester you. :D They say you really have to understand something before you can make good jokes about it, which is why I suppose Adam does not do Stand-up geography comedy.
