The new season of American Idol won't be on our screens until next year, but host Ryan Seacrest, Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr all reunited to take part in a promotional photoshoot for the 14th season. However, it wasn't all about work for Jen and co as they were seen laughing and joking around in the breaks. In fact, at one point Jennifer was seen cosying up to Ryan. However, we reckon it was only because Jen was sharing a joke with the host.
But by the looks of it, it appears Ryan didn't get it...
It was confirmed earlier this year that Jennifer, Keith and Harry would be returning to the show along with Ryan who has been the show's host since it began. Auditions for the new season, which is scheduled to make a return in early 2015, also recently began following reports that the team held auditions in Dallas.

So, with the wheels in motion for season 14, it was time for Jen and co to get back to work and Jennifer, who wore baggy leather trousers and a grey top for the photoshoot pulled the best poses alongside Keith and Harry who kept it casual wearing jeans, a tee and a jacket.

As fans wait for the return of the new show, American Idol alumni, Adam Lambert recently teased that the new series of the show will be different from previous seasons. Speaking about the show when he stepped in for Keith when a personal emergency took him away from the auditions, Adam told TV Line: "It's more than just having a nice-sounding voice. It's about the complete package: It's the look, it's the vibe, it's the personality."
Harry added: "We're not putting people through based on, 'Maybe in a few weeks they'll really get into it.' There's no time for that. But I don't know if it's about coming in more polished, as opposed to coming in with a greater wealth of talent. We've seen people who are really raw, but you can tell when the bright lights go on them, they're going to be able to bring it."
Explaining how the 14th season will be formatted in the TV schedules next year, Fox entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly said: "I think it will be a two-night format initially during the audition phase, and will quite likely end up as a two-hour show on one night for most of its run."
We can't wait for the new season to start!

thank you for posting this great review! I haven't seen it either. I think we are the only twp people here right now!lol But I have got to try and get some sleep. I'm watching my granddaughter in about 3 hours! Yikes...memo to self...NEVER drink four cups of coffee late at night!  Nite or good morning now! This is new to me but there are so many of these personal blogs it is hard to read them all. I believe we have close to all the "news" reviews here but there are literally 100's of these out there -- and only a few are really well written, information and have a new perspective. This one is one of those few that are really well written. Thanks for bringing it over. |
