Also, huge kudos to Adam for changing his whole demeanor and adjusting it to the atmosphere of a song in one single movement - tipping of the hat. Talk about efficiency: that had to be the fastest switch of a clothing item from a fashion statement to a stage prop, a costume change if you like, I have ever seen. I would KILL for a gif of him tipping his hat. From cutesy and charming Elliott to dark, sexy and mysterious in a heartbeat.

He had to switch the hat because "Steve wears his brim pulled way down low!"

That's why I asked, Rihannsu. I was following the twitter stream pretty closely and nothing came up that I saw. Thanks for explaining how this campaign was supposed to work. Not being a social network person, I missed the intent of what AT&T was trying to hone in on. To me, personally, living proud is universal. For all beings. That is why I would have liked to have seen the winning memes at the event. We all can learn from one another. Maybe they were shown? If so, I'm sorry to have missed them. Appreciate your explanation! Now I'll move on.. I'm thinking I either imagined it or it happened ....while watching the stream before Adam came out, I think while George and the lady from ATT were talking, they did briefly show about 4 separate memes on the screen behind them. It may have been when they were mentioning the winners of the contest. But they weren't shown prominently enough or for long enough to really read what was written on the images. Then again I could be totally wrong! I'm on the train from NY back to VA and typing on my phone so will make this brief and hope I did the quote thing correctly! The sweepstakes rules said that the winners would be selected in random drawings. They were not selected on the basis of writing the best memes. I think that's why there was no fuss about the memes last night. The event was great, Adam of course was fabulous and looked fabulous! I enjoyed the guitarist as well and my friend's daughter had a chance to talk with him after the show. I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to go.

Wanted to give Moana proper credit..this is beautiful. From last night's thread. I found this quote & thought I would share it with you all!! THINK DEEPLY SPEAK GENTLY LOVE MUCH LAUGH OFTEN WORK HARD GIVE FREELY AND BE KIND
Thanks, Moana!! Yes, it was Moana's reference to the poem that made me delete my phone it in "joke." The performance did not sound good TO ME on the live stream. Moana's post made me realize I probably needed to wait before I made a snap judgement. I still thought Adam's voice seemed tired, but maybe it was my ears. It sounded better to me today. It was a one off and it was what it was.

This twitter conversation rings so true to me. We are so fortunate to stan Adam who gives us so many different musical genius sides as well as an ever evolving, mysterious, and charismatic personality! Meredith @merrycello 6h6 hours ago terra_zephead :DDD It sounded so good. That's what I love about accoustic sets. Just his voice and the guitar in all their pure glory TERRA terra_zephead Protected Tweets 6h6 hours ago @merrycello I love him most when he’s rocking out, but these are great treats too :D Meredith @merrycello 6h6 hours ago terra_zephead I think I'm happy with both for different reasons. The rocking out side of him is great because he's crazy and goes all out. Meredith @merrycello 6h6 hours ago terra_zephead and the accoustic sets highlight just how good and subtle and controlled he is. Plus the emotion he brings to each note <33

He had to switch the hat because "Steve wears his brim pulled way down low!" Also he practiced previously with the golden crown .... a similiar move, right? Although that was much more coy .... and I looooved it!!!
