The singer was spotted in New York City today being his fashionable self as he grabbed some supplies from his nearby drugstore. The man better prepare himself for this evening, because he is going to be busy living proud for AT&T.

Adam’s accompanist was recommended by Nile Rodgers. He is Sherrod Barnes.
Descended from a family of gospel singers and musicians, Sherrod has an extensive musical history that includes Gospel, Pop, Rock and R&B. His humble roots began in Rocky Mount, North Carolina where he was born one of seven children. He began playing bass guitar and drums at the young age of 10 yrs old and finally found his love for the lead guitar in his early teens. Sherrod played for the local church band and toured the country with his uncle's gospel group Reverend F.C. Barnes & Family. After several years of honing his craft, performing and recording in the name of the Lord, he then set his sites on New York City. Like most new comers to the Big City it was a struggle to survive. But soon his extraordinary talent and perseverance began to open doors to his ever-evolving musical career.
Sherrod has performed and/or recorded with world-renowned artists such as Roberta Flack, Whitney Houston, Quincy Jones, Queen Latifah, Arif Martin, Greg Philingains, Angie Stone, Kelly Rowlin, Natalie Cole, Ashford & Simpson, Layla Hathaway, Ashanti, Chantal Kreviazuk and Candi Staton, just to name few. He has also produced and /or written for artist such as Beyonce, Angie Stone, Debrah Cox, Ashanti, Boys II Men, Mike Phillips, Gordon Chambers, Blackstreet and Raheem DeVaughn.
Sherrod has also made several television appearances throughout his career. He has appeared on the 2004 World Music Awards with Whitney Houston, the Montel Williams Show with Silver, the Rosie O'Donnell & Martha Stewart Show with Roberta Flack, the Apprentice with the OJays and the Good Morning America Show with Kelly Rowlin (of Destiny's Child).
