I know you are asleep, Aleks, but I just love this!
Adam is a conscious choice for me - I chose him specifically, the radio didn't choose him for me, and that choice was not based on a couple of songs.
And if I can put my 2 cents in on why Adam wants radio success I would say that he is 100% a fan of Pop. It's what he listens to. It's what he loves. And for now, radio is still the road to success in Pop!
Ya, I know there is streaming, But it's no coincidence that the songs played on radio until you are sick of them, are also the songs dominating the iTunes Top 20 singles!

When Adam Lambert sand Mad World, its like he put every single classic song in a building, and lit the buliding on fire haha. If that makes sense. It was an iconic performance. Other singers may techniquely sing all the notes, but his arrangement was just so endering and unique, it well never be toppled.

The look on the other singer and keyboard player's faces is hysterical! Like, they can't believe it! I want to be at a party where Adam fuckin Lambert just jumps on stage and joins the band because he feels like it!!

Speaking of Taylor Swift's new album (relevance to Adam is that Max Martin was heavily involved) got a very mediocre review by the Washington Post Express - called it generic pop/sounds like everything else out there.
