I think live shows start about the beginning of March? But, hopefully the best mentor they could get will be too busy with his new album release to do an Idol gig. Unless as a guest to promote A3? But seriously, could whatever Randy did last year not be done in one day each week? Hear them sing, give some advice, and then appear on the Tonight Show (or whatever) the next day? Q3 has already conjectured (I believe) that he's probably not going to be touring radio stations again playing for people who are already huge fans. It didn't pay off in radio play last time. AI would be great promotion, wouldn't it? So what does album promotion look like for someone like Adam? That is a very good question. I really think that in the music buying market, promoting an album as a whole is not going to be nearly as important as having an undeniable single or two on the album. There needs to be something on that disk that catches everybody's attention. Daunting task.

Yes problem with last era was mostly those Radio Station trips. Most of the people who got tickets, were already huge fans or pat of the core fan base. He didn't expand his following at all. The Radio DJ's can say all the nice things they want, but once his back is turned he is no different to any other mainstream pop act. If his single doesn't have enough impact, partic with the test audience, they won't play his song simple as that. I also thought while techniquely Trespassing was an excellent pop album. Their was just way too much competition in that genre. You had Katy Perry, Kesha, Rihanna, Lady Gaga e.t.c. Adam just didn't have a chance. That is why I think their is a niche for pop/rock. I also think their is a shift in change in the music scene. From EDM to Alt Music, but well see. End of the day I don't believe their is any prejudice or agenda against Adam. Their is absoloutely no reason why he cannot sell on average, or on par with the Swifts, Gagas, Perrys, Timberlakes e.t.c. But as we know Adam is a big picture artist. More of an artist who is going to sell out arenas all around the world, and be a multi platinum selling arena artist. Other then someone who is going to sell a million copies in one week, he may do one day, but Rome wasen't built in a day. All he needs is a instantly recognisable single, with an immediate hook, and a song that showcases all his strongest attributes (His Voice). And timing. That's it, he just needs one song, and the potential is limitless.

Michele @sepiassecret oh lordy lol RT @socialitelife: Hey Straight Pop Stars, Adam Lambert Sees You ‘Pandering To Gay Audiences’ bit.ly/1v1pjUOHey Straight Pop Stars, Adam Lambert Sees You ‘Pandering To Gay Audiences’ So, remember how we were just talking about Nick Jonas and how he’s using his body to help sell his new album? The fact that he’s doing that is totally not a shock to anyone. But one thing that people have been talking about recently is that he seems to especially be working it for his gay fans. As Towleroad put it, “Yes, Nick Jonas Is (Sort of) Queerbaiting His Gay Fans. So What?” One person who has noticed the “queerbaiting” is Adam Lambert. The singer took to Twitter today to discuss the interesting topic with his followers. (Here it shows Adam's tweets) First off, I love that he clarified about “no shade.” To an extent, I kind of agree with him. It’s nice to read about how a singer, say Nick Jonas, feels about the new direction his music is taking. But then at the same time, it is fun to stare at hot dudes being shirtless, non? Keep in mind that you don’t have to be a guy to “pander to gay audiences.” Look at Lady Gaga. She does it too. Obviously, I don’t know if there’s a right or wrong answer here, but, like Adam said, it is interesting reading other people’s opinions. So leave us yours in the comments below! Let’s get this discussion rolling! Link: www.socialitelife.com/hey-straight-pop-stars-adam-lambert-sees-you-pandering-to-gay-audiences-11-2014 well that didn't take long....

It would NOT be touring radio stations. Debuting on a big show (AMA anyone?), big TV appearance, interviews with top stations that can be done from anywhere, forgot what else she said.

I believe there is plenty of evidence of not prejudice or agenda so much as bias. The idol stigma and the flamboyant makeup wearing gay stigma are very real, wrong but real. IMHO. That bias though is not so great that it cannot be overcome with a (or few) bit hit.

Well yes obviously it would be easier for Adam if he was straight, but that's not the way he turned out for him. Yes their has been some bias. But look at Sam Smith, he seems to have a few hits, with little stigma, so I don't know what the deal with Adam is haha. Maybe he doesn't play it safe never did, he has always lived life on the edge, he is polarizing. Obviousley a few big hits wont get away with the stigma, but commercially I mean he well find success. I kinda felt around 2010, their was some agenda towards Adam, people in the industry just didn't get him, and what he is about. Most mainstream acts, have a clear and well defined sound, Adam doesn't seem too. He can sing the phone book. You could argue Adam is one of the most well known Openly Gay Stars in the world, yet to me he has always come across neutral. He can sing the phonebook, but it can kinda be a handicap for him. So I hope it is pop/rock. Theirs this one song that I love Hold On, it really suits Adam's style. It is really edgy, like Dark Rock www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk8t8-lMg2w. Adam could do Pop/Rnnbish type album. I have no idea what A3 well sound like though.
