QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT today announced they have added three further UK arena shows, as part of their 2015 European tour.
Since the UK and European tour went on sale last month, demand for tickets has been phenomenal. Fans can now book tickets for next year’s new shows, which include dates in Liverpool and Sheffield, where Queen + Adam Lambert have not performed together before. The new dates are: Wembley SSE Arena on 24 February, Liverpool Echo Arena on 26 February and Sheffield Motorpoint Arena on 27 February. Tickets go on-sale at 9am tomorrow, Wednesday 12 November.
Brian May says of the extra shows: "Just to show we actually DO listen!!! There was a lot of demand for these extra dates, and this will make a great climax to the tour."
This news comes as Queen + Adam Lambert are confirmed to perform live on ITV’s The X Factor on 30 November. Last week they were awarded Band of the Year at the 10th annual Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards in Los Angeles.
In addition, ITV will broadcast The Nation’s Favourite Queen Song, tonight at 9pm. The show uncovers the origins of Queen’s best-loved tunes and tells the stories behind the band’s bold and inventive music videos. Queen Forever, a new compilation album including previously unreleased material recorded with Freddie Mercury, was released yesterday, 10th November. Meanwhile, Adam Lambert is currently in the final stages of writing and recording his third album, ready for release next year.
The 2015 tour comes two years after May, Taylor and Lambert last performed a short tour together of the UK and Europe, this lengthier outing will see Queen + Adam Lambert perform 25 shows in 10 countries. The tour opens in the UK at Newcastle Arena on 13 January and will see the band play a total of 11 shows across the UK. The tour then takes in France, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, Czech Republic and Switzerland.
Earlier this year, Queen + Adam Lambert’s World tour played to sold-out audiences across North America, Australia, New Zealand, with outdoor festival stops in Korea and Japan. The shows received glowing reviews from fans and critics alike:
"Guaranteed to blow your mind, indeed." (Entertainment Weekly)
"We were rocked, Queen is still the champion, and Lambert is a skilled voice to ensure that their music will remain live for a generation of fans." (VH1)
“Rejuvenated Queen reigns supreme. Bow down fans, your new Queen is worthy of your love and devotion.” (Edmonton Journal, Canada)
“Queen guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor and newcomer Adam Lambert blew the roof off in an energetic rock extravaganza which pulled no punches. Their extraordinary musical talent showed no signs of waning.” (The Daily Telegraph, Sydney)
“Queen and Adam Lambert delivered just over two hours of pure sensation straight into the nerves and bones of anyone fortunate enough to witness it. Freddie may be gone, but he would surely approve.” (Brisbane Times)
“Did they rock us? Oh YES!” (New York Daily News)
Queen first teamed up with Adam Lambert in 2009 to perform the band's rock anthem "We Are the Champions" on "American Idol's" season's eight finale. Lambert and Queen partnered again in 2011 at the MTV European Music Awards in Belfast. In the summer of 2012 they performed their first live concerts together with three sold-out shows in the UK at London's Hammersmith Apollo as well as concert appearances in Russia, Ukraine and Poland.
A further one-off performance together at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last September at which they effectively stole the show triggered a conversation between Adam, Roger and Brian to take the show on the road. Hollywood Reporter exclaimed, “Adam Lambert, Queen bring down the iHeart house. With the perfect mix of rock attitude mixed with style, theatricality, sex appeal and impressive vocal gymnastics, [Lambert] took the band’s music to new heights.”

Queen and Adam Lambert add three dates to UK tour
Queen and Adam Lambert have added three dates to their forthcoming UK tour.
They will now play shows in Wembley, Liverpool and Sheffield on February 24, February 26 and February 27 respectively.
Tickets for the three new dates go on sale on November 12 at 9am.
The collaborative tour will come over to Europe after a successful run across North America earlier this year.
The new shows will start at Newcastle Arena on January 13 and finish at Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena on February 27.
The tour includes a headline set at London's O2 arena on January 17.
"On the technical side, it's definitely more of a production than two years ago," Lambert said of the changes to the show.
"We've had a lot more cities to visit and so I think we all decided to build up the visuals and the stage accordingly, and of course we do all the hits."

My Fan-tasy -- Part 2!!
11.11.14 by Q3
At the end of October, I post the beginning of my personal fantasy setlist for Q+AL.
Here is the opening of the post I wrote on October 25, 2014.
Just imaging if…….if I won the Powerball lottery and had a spare $300 million or so. Ummmmm makes you think. Well, OK, it makes me think....
Opened on March 29, 1871 by Queen Victoria, the Royal Albert Hall seats up to 5,272 people. It was named after her husband, Bobby Hall. But seriously, if his name had been Fred, what then? The Royal Fred Hall? The Kensington Gardens venue is perhaps best known for the Proms, the world’s biggest classical music concerts featuring the best artists in the world performing some of the most amazing music in the world for some of the most reasonable, some might even say cheapest, prices in the world. The Proms were founded in 1895 but have been held here since 1941. Henry Wood conducted them for more than 50 years, and after his death they became the Henry Wood Promenade Concerts, which is a mouthful so we still refer to them as the Proms. Over the last 150 years or so the Royal Albert Hall has featured some of the greatest names in musical, science, and political history, a list of names too numerous and diverse to mention here. Still, we’ll give it a shot: Einstein, Elton John, The Dalai Lama, Stephen Hawking, Bob Dylan, Ella Fitzgerald, a Harry Potter book launch. Really, we could go on forever. On the 24th of May 1912 the Titanic Band Memorial Concert was performed to honor the musicians who died on the Titanic. The performance featured musicians from the London Symphony Orchestra, Queens Hall Symphony Orchestra, and the Royal Opera Orchestra. In May of 1877 Wagner conducted excerpts from his own operas and marches. Then there was Yehudi Menuhin in 1929 aged 10. Alfred Hitchcock and The Beatles. Bill Clinton.
