As yet....I am not heading off to Wembley stadium...but if I was....I cannot figure out how you access the Presale or the regular sale. The Presale email from adamlambertfans.com arrived but it does not clarify a password...just to go through Ticketmadter/Ticketzone etc The cost of the tickets seem less 59-69 pounds ...for as an example at Wembley. Is that correct? To allow more to attend? I actually thought they might do a far less inexpensive ticket, to fill a 75,000 plus seat stadium. Can the London area support the O2 concerts and Wembley? ( not knowing the geography and demographics of those areas) ....thanks for helping me with my questions! Webley Arena is actually small but 'legendary" -- only 12,500 people. It is the location of a famous Queen live album. It is the first time there has been a "last date" for this tour that seemed like it really could be the last date! I am not even looking at how to buy tickets!
The famous Queen live album is from Wembley Stadium - not Wembley Arena. It was Wembley Stadium in front of 80-90,000

SophieB wrote: Yep....already mustering the forces after the initial shock...LOL. Feel sure I'll be capable of taking a couple more concerts for the team.....and Liverpool! Really my backyard....All these are so close (a reminder of what a small nation we are) that it seems almost churlish not to go..... Seriously thinking of taking a group of civilians to Liverpool but.....does anyone else find that otherwise lovely, supportive, lifelong friends turn into annoying pests that need swatting where Adam is concerned? Eww! What are all those gold fringes? Well, they are gold fringes. Next. ***** I so know what you are saying. I've yet to find a person (aside from this wonderful place) that appreciates Adam to any degree acceptable to me. You might consider the sacrifice, though, if you can go to the last concert alone or with another fan... Somehow I feel there may be a couple Atoppers there since it's (probably) the last show. (I wonder if Q3 has made her reservations yet... ) I am not going to be a Wembley -- but I have consistently posted that this tour will end in London -- and I can think of no more suitable ending then at Wembley Arena. I am now convinced that the Q+AL adventure will continue on after this world tour although I really doubt they will return to do a tour of North America. *** I took many family members to Q+AL last summer. Since then they have been a bit more understanding of my Adam "interest". They all expected me to go to London! So you are saying you think they are going to add yet another London show? Right now the last show is not in London. I agree that collaboration will continue around the rest of the world at some point, I can't imagine that they won't do South American, the rest of Europe, etc etc...

I am with mys*&@^#r50 on this one. What does Sean Mendes have to do with Adam? He is 16 and trying to be the next Justin Bieber. He is popular online and on YouTube but that has not translated into sale so far. Like Bieber was, he is cute and can sing. But even his pre-label signing YouTubes have modded vocals. To me "Something Big" is just another piece of studio-crafted music -- the vocals are so modified that a human almost did not need to be involved. ETA: I so missed the JOKE!! Does anyone watch the TV show called "Scorpion?" Last night the story was about a guy who developed a complex algorithm that analyzed pop songs to determine the components of a "hit." Then, the computer "wrote" songs that pop celebrities recorded and made big bucks with. The bad guys (record producers) tried to kill the guy who developed the program so that the listening public would not know that the hit songs were created by a machine and not a person. Seemed true to life to me! I think that story line is a FU to the recording industry from Katharine McPhee.

Hmmm. Not to speak for coo. coo. ca. choo.....I think she was just being sarcastic....meaning that seems to be what it takes to be a pop success. Speaking for myself, I think my attempts at humor....admittedly most of it being lame..lol...sometimes get misinterpreted. Maybe it's a Southern thing. Indeed, it is that "bless your heart" thing - folks actually believe we mean it. Seriously though I am amazed that no one has created a special font and called it sarcasm. It would sure come in handy. Sarcasm font -> Been done. Left-leaning italics. :D glennmcanally.com/sarcastic/I will try to get it to work on atop later. Have to go now.

ETA: I always mix up the Wembley Arena Game Tour (Dec 10, 1980) bookleg album (which I love) with the Wembley Stadium Live concert (1985) which is the DVD release as Queen: Live at Wembley Stadium. Not close to the same thing. Off to get some very strong coffee!!

*a bit more coffee* It was 1986 Live Aid was 1985 so I can understand *THAT* mix up. And yes Dec 10 at Wembley Arena is a great bootleg. Not quite as good as Hammersmith 1979 (one of my fav bootlegs!) but up there BTW if there are any gigs you want recordings of let me know...I do have a ton...a TON.

Well....Talon you answered my question ...which was actually a pretty embarrassing ....and all based on the fact that I did not read carefully re Wembley Arena and Wembley Stadium. I had no idea ..lol ....that there were two Wembley's . (Being on the other side of the pond.) I was "kinda" surprised to have such a big place....thought they might be doing it for close to free /$10.00 to cover expenses, to go out with a Big Bang so to speak. I thought having an outdoor concert at that time of the year was a little risky ...double my bad!
