Whew. Really wanted to talk about this because I think the Voice is awesome this season. I still find myself annoyed with the Adam/Blake schtick but Pharrell and Gwen are wonderful. They are everything a coach/team leader/mentor should be and I really love their insights, comments and respectful but realistic interaction with their team.
I was inevitably disappointed with some of America's choices but that is par for the course. I was very happy that Damien went through. He is incredible I was surprised and pleased that Blake did not save the obvious country singer (who is very good) and saved a much more unusual voice - Jessie Pitts
What do you guys think?

I am so happy about Damien and Matt, but wanted Taylor Phelan instead of Channing Tatum (aka Chris).
Happy about all of Pharrell's team, don't like Anita on Gwen's team and the other guy is kinda vanilla, but I love Taylor! He's awesome.
Not a big fan of Jessie, but I love Craig and Reagan.
Right now my top 3 are Luke, Taylor, and Reagan.

Well, finally got to watch the eliminations. Actually my favorite team is Blake's, although I wasn't really surprised at the choices the other judges made. I like Anita, but she will have to do more than reggae to make it very far. I have to laugh that you called Chris Channing Tatum, because I've been trying to remember who he looks like. Generally speaking, I'm not really attached to any of them and do not plan on voting (although I may buy a song or two). I thought all the coaches did a good job and Pharell has been very interesting.
Will be interesting to see how it goes!

I'm watching too. I like this panel of judges a lot better. I like Blake; Adam Levine, not so much. Gwen is coming across as very warm-hearted and Pharrell is cool and knowledgable (but I have mixed feelings as he was involved with "Blurred Lines" whose message I really dislike).
They have a good crop of contestants -- none of which I feel particularly attached too. That is said with some relief because I hardly have the time to follow our Adam's career.
I have a soft spot for Damien; I like DaNica but she comes across as so much older than 25; I'm sorry Elyjuh has gone; and Ryan reminds me of an over-eager puppy.

Well, here we are with the top 12!
My favorites are Jessie Pitts, Taylor John Williams, Matt McAndrew, Craig Wayne Boyd and Anita Antoinette!! The rest were good but I just didn't feel them. Will be interesting to see who goes home tomorrow.

Only one getting the iTunes bonus is Matt but Craig is at #11 so he might possibly move up this morning
I like Pharell, enjoy how he roots on contestants from other teams. Matt will win unless he messes up song choice, then Craig may pass him by. Usually country voters come out strong. And I feel pretty confident that Blake will help him after the show in any case.

The Voice tonight has been not so great. But Luke is at the bottom of my list so far. I just tuned in and am painfully listening to Starlight. I usually really like the Voice but this is really not good. Did Damien sing yet? |
