Adam is on the VIP attendee list for Mathu Andersen's first solo exhibition in LA tonight: "The Instagram Art of Mathu Andersen".

Mathu Andersen is a make-up artist and the creative producer for reality television program "RuPaul's Drag Race." He is also Rupaul's personal hair and make-up artist and has been for a very long time. A visionary, Andersen gives outsiders a glimpse of his innovative work by way of his Instagram account, where he posts the final results of the different looks he is inspired to create.

The images Mathu Andersen (Mathu7) posts on Instagram allow him to express himself in a playful manner, for fun he notes, while at the same time commenting on gender aesthetics. By combining the use of vintage photography and fabulous outfits, the inspiring pictures have become true pieces of art.

His portraits have already influenced new make-up techniques used on the runway and for high-end fashion photo-shoots.

Adam Lambert & Queen Will Rock “The X Factor”

“X Factor UK” be forewarned: Adam Lambert + his crew in Queen are coming to your set — and they will absolutely, positively ROCK YOU!



Pyro-voiced Adam and the rock legends in Queen announced yesterday that they are officially confirmed as performers, on an upcoming episode of the UK version of “The X-Factor.”

Speculation for days had been high that the band would be rocking the “X Factor” set soon. First, a show spokesman shared a Twitter update:

“YES — in a few weeks @queenwillrock will be performing LIVE in the #XFactor studio with @adamlambert! #MJvsQueen.”

Then three days ago, columnist James Ingham of The Daily Star tweeted the following news:

“For @adamlambert fans asking. I can confirm they will actually appear on @thexfactor on Nov. 30th with Queen. #AdamLambert.”

Only days ago, guitarist Brian May of Queen had quieted rumors that the band and Adam would be performing on “The X Factor.”

“Some excellent news ahead of Monday’s release of ‘Queen Forever,’” he tweeted. “This Saturday’s X Factor will be a Queen vs. Michael Jackson special. Please note: Contrary to rumors, Queen + Adam Lambert will NOT be appearing!”

Other pop music superstars have also been rumored as performers on this season’s “X Factor.” According to James Ingham’s later tweet:

“X FACTOR EXCL: Adam Lambert & Queen, Olly Murs, One Direction, Sam Bailey, Take That, Ella Henderson, Rihanna, and Sam Smith all set to perform!”

He later added: “For Adam Lambert or Rihanna fans asking: I don’t know the dates. They are down ATM on the list of performers though that could change.”

Meanwhile the rock legends in Queen are getting prepped for the huge UK tour, beginning in early 2015.

Who should replace Randy Jackson on season-14? THR's Idol Worship has a suggestion

<img style="max-width:100%;" src="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/thumbnail_570x321/2014/11/adam_lambert_2014_h.jpg" alt=""><br><br>American Idol fans probably never imagined a day when Randy Jackson would no longer be "in it to win it," but so it seems for season-14 of the Fox show, the first that won't feature the former judge-turned-mentor.

With Tuesday's Jackson news, comes the inevitable question: who could fill those shoes when the show goes live? The short answer: Adam Lambert.

The season-eight runner-up is one of the most successful and loyal team players in the Idol family. He has already served in the position of mentoring and coaching Idols in seasons Nine and 13, respectively, offering truthful, candid, no-nonsense advice while at the same time serving a big brother role — he's been there, done that and seen it all.

Case in point: during season-nine, Lambert was invited to serve as a mentor during Elvis Presley week, the first former contestant to do so. His presence was at times brutal, telling finalist Andrew Garcia that his “Hound Dog” was “boring.” Other times, he gave just the right medicine for an ailing season. For example, Michael Lynche had been struggling and was on the brink of elimination before Lambert took the reins and guided him to use his storytelling skills on Presley’s “In The Ghetto.” That performance earned Big Mike a standing ovation and lengthened his run into the top four.

Since that appearance, Lambert has returned to the show every year as a performer (his duet with Angie Miller in the season-12 finale was one of the evening's most exciting moments and as a counselor (alongside season-five standout Chris Daughtry) at Jackson’s Boot Camp, helping the season-13 contestants get ready to compete before the shows went live. And he's uncannily good at it: Lambert correctly advised perky Majesty Rose to settle down the arrangement to Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” and not rush it. Rose prevailed that week under Lambert’s tutelage. He also offered advice to other hopefuls on how to handle social media and stay focused in the competition: words only a former contestant who survived the glaring spotlight of Idol can honestly espouse.

Even on this current season, Lambert's presence will be felt during auditions seeing as he stepped in as a judge when Keith Urban’s father-in-law tragically passed away. According to reports, Lambert did an excellent job selecting talent alongside Harry Connick Jr. and Jennifer Lopez.

But ultimately, it's Lambert’s career path that qualifies him to mentor others, and since his Idol days, it's been one long whirlwind of excitement. His 2009 release, For Your Entertainment, yielded the hit songs “Whataya Want From Me?” and “If I Had You.” His subsequent release, Trespassing, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2012.

As a magnetic TV personality, Lambert shines, having hosted VH-1’s Divas special and appeared on Pretty Little Liars and Glee.

And lest we forget his triumphant turn as the frontman of Queen, stepping into the shoes of the late Freddie Mercury and rocking arenas around the world.

With all of his knowledge, performance skills, charisma, fashion and media savvy, Lambert is the ultimate choice. He not only knows the Idol system, but he can also help the new kids wade through the shark-infested waters of the music industry by sharing his own heard-earned business acumen.

As Angie Miller said in a recent interview with Idol Worship, Lambert was refreshingly candid offering words of wisdom when they met at the finale. “When I met him, it was kind of like an instant click because we know what each other went through,” she said. “He said a lot of great things about what is going to happen after Idol. He gave a lot of hints about what to do when it was over… He helped a lot with that side of things.”

Wouldn’t future Idols benefit from a guy like that?

Yes, he has more shows overseas and in England through February, but surely he can return in time to heroically guide the next batch of contestants battling for the 2015 Idol crown? What do you think, Idol Worshippers? Does Lambert fit the bill?

Adam Lambert has tweeted a message taking aim at Nick Jonas and the publicity campaign for his new album.

Adam sent out the following message to his 2.34 million followers last night:

Most people on Twitter agree that the statement was reffering to Nick Jonas' current album publicity campaign, in which Nick has been queerbaiting the LGBT community in order to win over gay fans.

Adam later clarified his original statement after some people began to claim that Nick is actually gay, and that Adam was shading him.

While we do think the original tweet was a little shady, the conversation Adam tried to begin is one that has been around for quite a while - when does marketing your music towards the gay community become exploitation?

Many have been accusing Lady Gaga of doing this for years, while many felt the same way about Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' song 'Same Love'.

One user on gossip site ONTD made a valid point by saying: 'In Nick Jonas'/Lady Gaga's case it is shameless pandering but what is better? The straight male singers who endlessly and repeatedly re-assert their straightness and give #nohomo comments all the time? Like yeah pandering is a bit sketchy and has a clear marketing purpose behind it but it's still a risk for the artists who take it (especially the straight male ones) and it still works in favor of the LGBT-community rather than damaging it.'
