primetime.unrealitytv.co.uk/?p=1552695 reasons Adam Lambert should replace Randy Jackson’s on American IdolNovember 13th, 2014 by Martin Lamont.
It was confirmed this week that ‘American Idol’ judge and mentor Randy Jackson will leave the show entirely after 13 seasons. Sad news for many.
However, it’s already got us thinking about who could replace him, it would have to be someone that knows what it takes… so what about Adam Lambert?
Speaking with People magazine Jackson explained that “After 13 seasons, I felt now was the perfect time to leave ‘American Idol,’.
At the end of season 12 of ‘American Idol’ Randy Jackson had stepped down as a judge on the show but had remained through season 13 as a mentor… until now. So what about Adam Lambert as his replacement? Here are five reasons why we think he should be!
5. He’s knowledgeable…Adam Lambert first rose to fame after appearing on the eighth season of ‘American Idol’ where he finished in second place. Getting so far in the competition would have provided him with a vast array of knowledge about how the show works, how performances work, what the public like and so on.
The singer has also performed in numerous amateur theatrical productions in his early career and following ‘American Idol’ has gone on to release his own chart topping albums.
4. He’s a performer, pure and simple…Fans will tell you, (‘Glamberts’ if you didn’t know) if you go to see Adam Lambert performing live, you definitely get a performance and a half. He’ll put on a show and make sure every minute you’ve spent standing in the venue was worth ever penny you’ve spent.
Adam has a vocal range that many would are jealous of and certainly knows his vibrato from his bass. What better way to pass on his performance skills than on the show that gave him his big boost.
3. He’s got charisma…Adam is charismatic, he’s a very strong character and he’s fun. He knows what to say and when to say it to get the right reaction but he’s also intrinsically kind and nurturing. He’s honest and direct but nice with it. A Mr Nasty he is not. You wouldn’t be getting a Simon Cowell wannabe if he joined the panel!
2. He’s fashionable…Okay so this isn’t my area of expertise but just ask Adam’s fans. He knows how to make a statement with how he looks on stage. He has all his fans talking and knows how to carry himself while wearing something sparkly, rhinestoned and often very flamboyant!
Adam doesn’t just have the talent and the personality, but he has, without a shadow of a doubt, got ‘the look’ too.
1. He knows his way around the media…In the 2014 music industry social media (and the media in general) are all important. It’s a vital part of any career in the spotlight and it has been the downfall of many, many stars. However, Lambert seems to have his public persona well managed. He connects with fans online, he always speaks his mind, yet he does so without being offensive or brash.
Lambert doesn’t rely on a PR team to manage his Twitter and Facebook alone and makes it very clear that he personally likes to interact with fans and the world around him. He strikes exactly the right balance.
In conclusion Adam would be ideal for the role on ‘American Idol’ because he’s Adam Lambert. He’s had that experience before, he’s been through it all and made it to the final. He’s had a successful solo career and even landed himself a spot in the legendary Queen lineup because of his brilliance. Who wouldn’t want to learn form him?
