Yes I agree! He was also more invested in Trespassing as his baby. My thought on a birthday campaign would not be buying Adam's albums. It is a nice idea..he just had his 5th anniversary of FYE but it was a day and it will fade fast as people move on. Trespassing, unfortunately, never got off the ground in the US. And I don't feel like feeding RCA's coffers. Also with a new album about to drop, calling attention to the 'old' when Adam is focused on the 'new' seems confusing to me. It might be confusing to the John or Mary Doe buying as well. It's confusing enough IMO that he is fronting Queen. Adding to the mix older albums that many might not be familiar with could possibly be counterproductive. Like when the bastard album dropped in the TP time frame. As it came out first, the general public and even the media thought this was Adam's new debut. I'd like to see the slate as clean as possible for A3 to avoid misunderstanding. And screw up the roll-out. I've noticed now that Adam is in his thirties, he isn't calling as much attention to his birthdays. I feel this fandom has done more for the world by responding to Adam's call for certain charities. He gets plenty of love and media buzz and our planet is a better place. It goes global. We have so many super tweeters in the Adam Lambert fan wagon, why not ask Adam where he would like our efforts to go this year? Ask him now before he gets to touring and keep asking until he specifies a charity or something else dear to his heart. That's my five cents on it. Well, I was thinking the same thing actually. I suspect there will be a buying campaign for the new singles and album, so besides us here, I honestly don't think there'd be much enthusiasm for either of the old albums. Viv, he's had a charity for each of his BDs, even last year. It was Nile's. Remember? He's had Donors Choose, then Charity Water twice, then Nile's twice. I strongly suspect he might push UNICEF this time, since the campaign kicks off in January.

LOL!!!!! Adam should soooooooo do this: Shane Bitney Crone 1 min · To the person (who shall remain nameless) who continuously sends emails and comments that my longer facial hair "looks awful," I dedicate this selfie to you. Here's to not caring what other people think! What matters is being comfortable in your own skin and if someone has a problem with your appearance, let that remain their problem, not yours. ???? #HatersGonnaHate #ShakeItOff

I have been cooking up a storm most of the day....just have the pumpkin pie to make then I'll heat it all up for Thanksgiving tomorrow! I'm exhausted and taking a much needed break to see what's happening on the Adam front! Nice that Yoko Ono retweeted Adam's Imagine tweet. I would love to see a video of Adam singing the whole song. Maybe Adam will leave Friday after he shares Thanksgiving with friends and family. The only problem with that is....it's one of the busiest flying days of the year! Yikes! That's why I think tomorrow. Strangely enough, a very slow travel day. Today would be crazy at LAX! The show probably has a rehearsal Saturday, I would think? So, I think Friday would be too late too.

Well considering the reception QAL has had in the States, Oz, Asia, Nz. And now to be UK on Monday. Especially from the younger audience. I wouldent say its all so confusing haha just saying. You would think ppl wld be aware FYE was his debut album from 2009. The covers a dead give away . It is indeed! And that campy, painted up image seems to be a thing of the past for him. I think that is what Vivalite was saying, why emphasis, at this point, something that is not current. Unfortunately the anniversary date is past now , it would have been a fun thing to do on that date, not so much 2+ months later.

I think it is very confusing, and would prefer something totally different than contributing to his two albums... onward to album 3.

But the second Charity Water was kind of a 'do this for your birthdays'..and not really a push. He might push UNICEF, but he also might keep his birthday quiet. He's supported Nile's, but I don't remember if he made a specific request as to 'for my birthday'. It's up to y'all..I don't think philanthropy is ever passe. Adam's getting less definitive about 'please donate to ___ for my birthday if you care to celebrate it' as the thirties move on.. Adam speaks...things happen. And I don't have a steel-clad memory, that much is obvious. LOL.. Still don't see anything productive about an album buying campaign, but I hug Q3 for her caring enough to suggest it.

I am with the current. There is a bitter taste to the end of his time with RCA.
It is a good time of year to share, and giving to his favorite charity feels right. Each of us helping a little can make a difference. I have always appreciated the charities and our ability to add our statement for him.

I would like Adam to make some sort of request, so we can focus our laser intentions in a certain direction. I remember Charity:Water BD 29. What a thrill to see the funds increasing to that absolutely astounding $230,000. Remember the excitement??? But Adam put out the definitive call for that. I'd like to see him do this again...for whatever is dear to him now. JMO.
