Well we have the answer.. Adam was" The wave of the future" He didn't look well in that interview ,he looked so pale. I sure like what he had to say though and loved the footage of him. I think he looks pale and not well because of the thick layer of foundation. It completely covered up his natural skin tone. He said or was shown in a behind the scenes that the makeup was put on by Oprah staff. It reminded me of the same makeup put on before that first mini-concert with K$sha which was by a professional too. I think they thought they had to cover up his acne scars or something and slathered it on. He always seemed to do it himself or Raja did after that so the GNT era was at least not pale. He's really figured it out after he met Sauli I thought. ETA: 0oops I was thinking wrong interview. Oh well, make-up by talk show make-up artists didn't do him any good that year.

Goodbye beautiful freckled arm. Let's hope the neck and head and face don't get covered up too. I think this new one looks like it belongs on the greasy floor of a machine shop - not covering up the arm of a gorgeous guy. *sigh*

I have never heard of an enneagram. Had to look it up. Wonder why the lines bet the triangle points of 9 , 3 and 6 are "dotted". Does that mean he's weak in these traits? Seems he's a strong "achiever" no. 3.

Thanks Graciejane. I'll try and read this. If it's important enough for Adam to tattoo it on his body, I at least should try and understand it

He is his own man, isn't he. It is not hard to see that the restrictions imposed by musical theater were a burden on his self-expression. As the tattoos have been a slowly evolving long term occurrence, I think they must be a true statement of his creativity and not a reaction to suppression. I hope he keeps it thoughtful because they are so permanent. I find it interesting that his right arm tattoos are curvy and flowing and his left arm is linear and geometric. I don't know what it means but it is interesting.
