LOL to put you out of misery, yes, sometimes i'd use sweater instead of jumper or pullover. in my books (and im NOT an expert in words) pullover - lighter, dressier long sleeve thingy sweater - sporty long sleeve thingy jumper - wintery, knitted long sleeve thingy none if these would have a hood, but sweater could..... who knew this was so "deep"? *wink* but..........................do you have cardigans?????????? My but you are cheeky (in a good way!). Oh, and bonnet = hood (of a car)

The fact that they are having fun is so obvious & what makes these concerts so fun to attend! The positive vibe is contagious! Grandduchess, there is a video on previous page but it is all translated & talked over. The fact that they are having fun is so obvious & what makes these concerts so fun to attend! While living in Canada, my mother ordered me a toboggan. Guess what she got! To this day I still say whilst rather than while! So are we waiting to hear the press conference? And we won't get the TV show until Christmas day? You didn't get a sled? Yeah, I want to know, is the band there? Is it just the three of them. So they are recording today and they don't have to go back on Christmas?

anyone with children in the right age bracket to have watched/read all the Harry Potter series should have no doubt that a jumper is a pullover sweater. :D ETA: generally wool or something knit. Oh, I get it. Those fugly sweaters that Ron's mom kept giving him. They would make you want to jump off the roof. hehe

Haha! I've recently dealt with the "jumper" confusion. Daughter is dating a Scot (he's here coaching soccer)...anyhoo, last week he said "Just let me grab my jumper". I gave my daughter the side eye waiting for him to return in a girl's dress. He came back in what I would call a pullover.
This discussion about "jumper" is really interesting. You learn something new every day in Adamtopia . I know jumper is some kind of overall. But having live in the US for quite sometime now, when someone ask me about jumper I probably will think that that person need help with the battery of their car or they need cable jumper

LOL.. I came from a country where we learn British English. So the first year I was in the US, my new friend laughed at me because the way I pronounced "Herbal". I pronounced it the British way, the way it's written
